Thanksgiving day was finally here. My mother was hosting a large dinner.
Okay, not so large, just us, Maya, Cole and Jeff's families with Dimitri too of course.
It was really precious having the people who have supported me the most around me for Thanksgiving.
Damon's family was invited too, but his parents politely turned down the offer after finding out what Damon and Hope did. To be sincere, I am actually happy they did because it will have been so awkward.
"So Kim, how has school been?" Mrs. Daloïs, Maya's mother asked.
"It has been good so far. Thank you." I answered with a polite smile.
"What are you majoring in again?" She asked.
"Civil Engineering." I replied confidently.
