Raemon pouted sadly, his little eyes filling with tears. He had been asking about Kendrick all the way to Eloda. Despite their formal relationship, Raemon wanted his father by his side. My face stiffened at the remainder of Dimitri's words. Kendrick had gone to celebrate Zendaya's birthday. He didn't have time for his son. I wasn't even the important person on his list.
I cooed Raemon, trying to sound positive although he was on the verge of crying,
