A Luna’ Rebirth

I feel dejected ,my pack the one I love and it’s people are either spitting on me or are uttering curse words at me as I’m being dragged to my death. I feel Lana lose the fight against the wolfsbane I’ve been injected and is blocked from me and l feel very alone. I don’t have any tears left to cry nor do I have the strength to fight for my life. I am brought in front of the whole pack where my mate and best friend stood lovingly beside each other and I see the victorious smirk on the face of my once best friend as I’m being led to a gallows “My fellow pack members today is a very sad day as I your alpha stand before you to exact punishment to your once Luna” I hear a lot of profanities as I am mentioned “ your Luna stands today accused of treason. She worked with rouges against her own pack, if not caught on time we would have lost a lot of good people and family members. I am a just alpha and man and you all deserve justice no matter who committed the crime” I heard cheers, no one cared to hear my side of the story as soon as there was proof and witnesses to my supposed crimes everyone had turned against me “I sentence you to death by hanging” the words were shouted and I was dragged to the gallows and a rope was placed on my neck and whatever I was standing on vanished and I struggled to breathe, I wanted to pull at the rope but my hands had been tied behind my back this entire time. I wanted to scream for help or shout that I didn’t do this but no words came out as I choked and struggled to breathe to stay alive then snap. I quickly transition from confusion to terror as Amanda jumps in bed besides me screaming happy birthday and I could not help my reaction as I pushed her and she fell with a thud on the floor “What the hell” she angrily screamed at me as she stood up “ you startled me” I answered as that had some truth in it. Just a few minutes ago I hung on a makeshift gallows because Amanda my best friend and Aaron my mate had framed me for treason and now here I am, where am l?I thought and looked around and realised I was in my room in my old pack. I bolted out of my room and ran through the pack and straight to the kitchen and just as I expected there she was my mom preparing breakfast, I ran straight into her arms and started crying. “Oh my baby, why are you crying and on your birthday of all the days” my mom said in her soothing voice “I missed you” I said through hiccups. Barely a year after I mated with Aaron my parents had mysteriously died and at first I did not suspect anything but after years I had found out Aaron had killed them and that was one of the many reasons he had framed and killed me. “Baby girl we were together yesterday and the day before that and a day before that, in fact we are together everyday” she laughed “Please finish up I need time with my daughter” she said as she left the kitchen. My mom was the Luna of our pack, she loved cooking and helped out every chance she got. “Luna Lucile, Rayna is acting weird” Amanda came to the sitting room where my mother and I were sitting and I had my head in her lap “I think she’s a bit emotional given today she turned eighteen and she is at the age where she can find her mate” I couldn’t help but hear the coldness in my mother’s voice as she answered her and I also begun piecing together that I might have some how gone back in time to my eighteenth birthday but can something like that be possible? “Yeah you’re probably right” Amanda said in a sulky voice. Having her near me again I could feel myself start to panic “Calm down Ryana, deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth” Lana my wolf said and I sat upright in all that’s happening I had forgotten about Lana how could I forget about my wolf “ its okay we’ve been through a lot, I’ve been trying to piece together what’s happening as well” she answered my thoughts “ mom can I speak to you privately?” I asked my mom through mind-link “ sure honey” she answered back through mind-link as we stood up and she led me to her room and Amanda was following behind “Rayna and I need some mother daughter time so if you please excuse us Amanda” my mom said seeing how uncomfortable I was with her around “But aren’t we going to discuss dresses for the big birthday?” She asked annoyed “ there will be time for that but right now please excuse us” she said with finality and I saw anger in Amanda’s eyes before she masked her face with a fake smile “Find me soon after Ray and we will discuss dresses okay” she said and turned around and left
