Amy left Tony to his work, but couldn’t help herself peeking in from time to time. She didn’t want to disturb him, but she needn’t have worried.
He sat there muttering now and then as he whisked through the various pages and dialog boxes, staring fixedly at the screen with all the open-eyed focus of Bella when the chicken came out.
She was thinking about those shoulders when he came out of the library with that satisfied look that only computer geeks after a successful foray seem to have.
“All set, Amy. I put the icon right in the middle of the screen, can’t miss it.”
“Thank you, Tony. Do you invoice, or shall I pay you now?”
