ISABEL'S POV. As I raced through the forest, my feet slipped on the damp leaves and earth, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of anxiety bubbling inside me. The shadows between the trees were growing darker and heavier, and a familiar sense of unease settled over me as I looked up to see dark clouds rolling across the sky. It was about to rain. Great!
