I stood quietly, as Marcy’s words replayed in my mind. I had never met Alpha Leo’s mother, or Luna Rosa as Marcy had called her. From what little I knew, she wasn’t originally a member of the Blood Moon pack. But what made me even more curious than her origins was her death. She’d been gone for years, even before I arrived here, yet I didn’t know how or when exactly it happened. There was something about Marcy’s earlier words that left me felling even more uneasy.
