ISABEL'S POV
I headed straight to Leo’s office, knowing he’d be in the middle of a discussion with Elder Lowell. My nerves tightened with every step, but I couldn’t hold this wait, I had to see him. I had to tell him everything I knew.
When I entered, I greeted Elder Lowell politely. He responded with a warm smile, but I barely noticed as I tried to catch Leo’s attention. I gestured subtly, hoping he’d understand I needed to talk to him. I didn't want to come off as rude by interrupting the conversation. But then again I guess that was exactly what I was already doing. Elder Lowell, ever perceptive, chuckled softly, clearly catching up to what was going on.
