The school was indeed silent. The lights were off and no one was inside the institute—but one.

Lance stood proudly in the rooftop, awaiting for someone to respond to his important invitation. His hair was dancing withthe wind breeze as his wings displayed itself, along with his red irises that changed his brown one’s in his left eye.

It didn't took long before the creaking of the doors were heard and a figure went to reveal itself. It’s golden locks were getting dragged by the wind, its black suit had a contrasted itself with his vibrant colored hair. He was looking at Lance with malice in his eyes. Apart from his looks, he wasalso carrying a knife that was said to have the power to kill demons.

“Why hello to the both of you.” The other male greeted and made a small bow.

“Awww. Look at him. Clearly he is as tainted as a Demon.” Kei taunted and let out a laugh.

The figure’s eyes went wide as he left out abitter laugh.

“I—I am not fully tainted. I—I am goi-going to get my real self back!” He defended, shaking in anger and gripping the knife much more tighter.

And as the leaf that was separating each sides fell on the ground, the fight began. Both were tainted and none of the Gods cared about what happens to the two, both of them were troublemakers, they made such mistakes that is considered as treachery to the heavens.

Kei was a warrior, his skills her polished and with Lance’s abilities to see seconds about the future, the other man’s attacks were branded useless to the duo. They were such a strong combination and as they kicked him towards the wall, the other man knee that it was his end.

Lance was positioning himself in a thrusting motion, his sword carrying the scent of death, the figure had closed his eyes, indicating that he had given up.

“Shin!” A female had stepped in and got hit by the sword. Lance had his eyes wide as he saw the face of a familiar female. A soul then came out of the man behind the female. It got dispersed in red, glowing lights, diving towards whats under. Hell was his destination.

As Lance drew back his sword, the female fell to the ground, bleeding and dying.

“No—N-No. Thi-This cannot be. Rian wake up!!” Lance was shaking the poor female’s body.

Seeing that she was unresponsive, the male immediately went and flew towards the hospital, holding the female’s body in tightly in his arms. The dark blanket of the sky gave her the advantage to flew without anyone noticing him.

He landed in one of the trees. Using Rian’s phone, he mimicked her voice and dialed the emergency number.

“He-Help. I go-git stabbed. I-Im in the entrance of the hospital. Help. Please.” He ended the call and placed Rian’s body to a place that is obvious. He then saw the medical team running its way towards Rian. He leaned by the tree, his hands and clothes smeared with blood.

He had hurt a human.

Lost Chapter (Rian Schevets):

Rian had left her phone in school so she had no choice but to get it back. Her only friends were Shin and Lance but she had no phone to use to contact them, notthat she had Lance’s number anyways. Her older brother is in college so he was away from home. She literally had no one to make them come with her.

With a flashlight in hand, she locked the doors of her home and headed outside. She decided to walk since the school is nearby and as expected, it was looking like a big haunted house, silent and dark. It seems that everyone, including the school guard had left the school to retire for the day. She turned her flashlight on and started walking inside the school, luckily, it wasn't locked.

She ran towards her classroom and went to her desk, underneath it was her phone. She thanked the heavens that no one took it and that she will finally get out of this scary place. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. She held her pendant close to her until the footsteps were no longer heard. She ran towards the exit again but then she heard a very loud bang from the rooftop. She changed her course and onwards to the rooftop. There was really something going on.

She opened the doors and she saw something horrifying! Shin was on the ground, bleeding and Lance was about to stab him with a sword.

“Shin!” She shouted as she ran towards the pitiful male and by the moment that she arrived, Lance had already thrusted his sword to her and Shin.

She then saw something come out of Shin’s body. It descended to the underground. Lance then pulled the sword back as Rian fell unconscious.
