I keep looking at the man sitting opposite me as I wait for him to talk. I have just laid it out for him to see, but I also told him I know of his intentions to kill us all.
“I will be doing no such thing, Miss Kincaid. Yes, it is true I planned on killing all of you. But seeing that you are nothing like your snake of a brother and that you got my daughter out and have been looking after my granddaughters. I will not be putting you and your club on the chopping block.” Giovanni says and I take a slow exhale on the inside, but on the outside I’m stoic as I watch him.
