Gasps are heard over the running water. I stare at Shannon in shock that she would pull rank and threaten me with my cut if I don’t give her what she wants. Right now, she is acting like a spoiled little girl. She is not thinking rationally. She is running off emotion, not that I can blame her.
“Prez? What does she mean?”
“She is delusional. Hunter is prez, not her.”
“Who does she think she is?”
“Enough! All of you, out. Stinger, get Ruby to the infirmary and call X-Ray. Tell him to check her over. The rest of you, officers only, get your asses into Church.” I say, not taking my eyes from Shannon, who is glaring with hellfire in her eyes.
