Shannon’s POV.
I had tears in my eyes watching Chance and the twins as I left them with the other kids and women. Chance knew something was about to happen and acted out. I couldn’t blame him, though this is scary, and I would be a liar if I said I wasn’t terrified.
But Chase and I calmed him down and told he had to be brave and be a good helper and when we get back, we will never be leaving him again.
We rode with the minibus to Terry’s apartment. I did my checks with the officers of the club. The place is secure and Terry has weapons and I know the women are packing with theirs. Women are more formidable than men when it comes to protecting their kids. So I know they will be safe.
