My breath hitches in my throat as I look at her, and she holds onto Chase like he is her lifeline.
“How is this possible? We saw the footage, the crash, they are all dead. This isn’t possible.” Stinger says from beside me and I take a step back and another one before I turn and walk away. I break into a jog. I jog up the stairs and check each person to see if anyone is alive, and no one is. They’re all dead. f**k!
“Shannon.” I drop to my knees and brace my hands on the bloodstained floor.
“Come on, we need to leave.” Beard says and I shrug his hand off and stand up.
“If she is alive, then maybe my father and brother are.” I say as I walk past him and back down the steps. I walk right up to where Chase and Lily are and look down at her before I move to my knees.
