Shannon’s POV. I watch as Goddard returns from the diner. He looks rattled and annoyed. Whoever is in that diner, I think, is the one behind it all. I should go inside, but if I’m right, I will be outnumbered and dead before I get to see who the mastermind is behind it all. So, I turn the bike around and head back to the clubhouse. I take a shortcut so Goddard doesn’t suspect anything. For being the town’s chief of the sheriff’s department, he is thick as pig s**t. Not once did he see me following behind him, then again he was running scared and he looked more infuriated when he stepped out of the diner.
