“Kurt, I can’t believe this is going to happen. We’re going to be together all night. Alone. We can do anything we want.”
“Yeah.” I grinned. “I wasn’t able to practice this afternoon. Couldn’t concentrate. Nadia’s gonna be pissed with me Monday. She’ll know I didn’t work as much on the Chopin as I should have.”
“What about tomorrow afternoon? I need to hit the books some time over the weekend. Maybe you could practice while I study.”
“I’ve always made it a point of honor not to practice on Saturday afternoons, but maybe in this case I could make an exception.”
He glanced at me to see how serious I was and then smiled. He was so adorable I wanted to grab him right then. Since he was driving, I just put my hand on his right thigh and let it rest there.
