A grosteque looking building sit on the end of the road, the only drive way into the bushes carrying all kinds of tree and shrubs from which sounds of animals and crying birds sprouts as though they were beaten, at the same time, melodious ones find their way out too. The synchrony is indescribable, but they meet well on the ears of any one who likes to listen. Aaron has found a way to forget his ordeal before he left home, absorbing the changes that life has brought to him all these years, even if it still feel amusing. Appreciating the unpredictability of time and life, accepting that a man can be mighty this minute and be nothing the next. Often wondering how fast life turned from been a senior police officer to being a forest guard, forgetting his past, the courage to love what he is doing now became paramount as if his life depends on it. He didn't forget to bring that same discipline with which he managed to be successful before his accident. people still call him " officer" moments he relish no matter where he finds himself. walking straight into the building, he thought about what happened at home, and how it was so easy for him to accept katherine's decision to make him go herbal with his tea He turned the nob on his radio to make it clearer, so he could hear what was been talked about. it was a religious argument, everybody has become more political these days he assume, wondering how despicable it is for religious people to appear more gullible to political leaders, nothing edifies the soul anymore. Nothing drags you to God, except the personal conviction, you have already, maybe by virtue of been born and having the privilege to grow in a christian home. Christen from birth is the only true way to the salvation we have these days. " stop listening to this people on the radio" Arthur stumble onto him from the left side of the bushes holding a strangulated antelope. " where did you get this" he asked "from some lads" Arthur replied there have been request to let the bushes fallow for a year before any cutting down of trees but some people still get clearance. there was a short break on the radio, a female voice announces the sporadic shooting of gun by unknown men in town, requesting that everybody should keep safe at the moment as details will be released concerning the occurrence as it unfolds they both stare at each other, thinking about their families at the same time, Aaron believes there was no need to be anxious believing the police should be on that matter as it happens. Arthur was worried, his contenance could not conceal the apprehension on his face, it was the third attack by unknown men, the police had promised that such will never happen again. Aaron noticed how uneasy he has become, he tapped him to be calm, as they walk towards the building to resume the day's work.
