Chapter one
The early part of the year feels different, so many things has happened, it's a reminder of what has kept him from the Force, ten years after his recruitment, same cup every morning, the squeaky sound from the chair is a new one, he thought, the miniature kettle on the gas stove whistles, bringing him back to reality.
You could see in his face that he could give anything just to be back in the Force, as he pours himself tea, which taste differently today, forming a horrid wrinkle as though he was in anguish.
He had not bothered to look at the tea bag he dug into the kettle, it has always been the same tea for a decade, even though he had be advised to change it.
" what a dissatisfying taste" he thought, it was almost like the pain he felt ten years again.
all of a sudden, the kitchen feels smaller, the lights went off, which is a usual time for the electricity company, that didn't feel strange but the tea does, his taste bud has kept a feeling for this long and now it has changed, he has suddenly forgotten whatever he has had this past years, but there is a pain he doesn't want to keep.
" who changed my tea" a very thick voice ran from the kitchen piercing through the slightly lighted sitting room and then echoes into the remaining rooms in the house, vaguely giving everyone consciousness, only Katherine was not surprised but the rest of the family members was, it's been ages they heard that roar.
As they rushed out to meet the dim lited parlour flooded by the waking sun, which has four fully wrapped chairs with stools sitting around and a glass center table carrying a vase, holding synthetic very light green flower, pitching the sea green wall.
Three doors, one leading to other rooms, one to the kitchen and the last one to the visitors toilet holding a church sticker with a man's face on it with an enticing inscription about abundance.
The wall was covered in sea greeny paint, often offends Aaron because he wanted army green, he doesn't like television but they have one because of the children.
Family pictures sits on almost every part of the wall, the only thing he enjoys seeing, each taken every year for the last nine years.
" I said who changed my tea" surprisingly seeing everyone except katherine who was sluggishly walking to join everyone else.
" I did" she said with so much reluctancy
" why" he asked like he has never been told before, every other person walked away because they didn't want to see the awful sight of two adults arguing like kids on an early Monday morning.
" well since you want me to say it for the upteempth time, you are becoming addictive and that may not be good for your health, after all this years"
same reason she had given for a year now, Aaron didn't want to argue, not because he doesn't, everyone knows he doesn't know how to when he is angry.
He flogged himself pass her unsatisfied walking down the hollow corridor which leads to the rooms, grumbling like a child who is tired from different errands " please don't change any other thing, I like my things just the way are"
Aaron has been meticulous for this long because of what happened to him.
