Prologue
An endless sea is all that can be seen on the horizon.
Sky clear of clouds and the sun shining bright.
The waters endlessly deep and full of mysterious ancient life. What could possibly be hiding there?
Who would decide to travel those treacherous waters?
Only one man and his family-a man named Noah.
For he and his family are the only fully human beings that have not drowned. Noah's huge ark shows up on the horizon. It's so ginormous that it can seemingly pierce the skies. Only one monster can bring this ship down-The Leviathan. It circles the Earth's ocean looking for the Ark. And it has finally found it. The Leviathan erupts from the ocean revealing itself to be a huge blue dragon type of creature.
Noah: God, please this is not the time for jokes, we can't defeat this thing, you created it, you can strike it down.
All of a sudden Noah's face changes. Looks like God has answered but nobody else can seem to hear the Lord's voice.
Shem: What did he say this time?
Noah: He said help is coming
Shem: What?! Why not defeat it himself.
Noah: Mysterious ways he said he works in.
Shem: Not this crap again.
Noah: Well let's hope help comes before this thing absolutely annihilates us.
Just as Noah was saying that the Leviathan jumps in to the sky and plunges towards the ship. Just when he was about to hit the ship the monster gets his whole body pushed back in to the water with an inhumane strength.
Thunderous voice: You will die soon enough, you useless lizard.
Shem: Always a pleasure for my ears hearing his voice.
Noah: OH CMON JUST KILL IT ALREADY WHO CAN POSSIBLY BE ARRIVING SOON THAT CAN HELP US AS WELL.
And just as Noah was screaming at the sky, out of the clouds a boy starts falling down out of them.
Noah: Oh mysterious ways I forgot. Will he survive that?
Noah's face once again changes grimaces.
Noah: How??? He is falling from the very top of the sky.
As the boy is getting closer to the ocean the more you can hear his femine screams.
Steve: I DON'T WANNA BE HERE WHAT IS HAPPENING.
AM I DREAAAMING??!??
God(inside his head): No, but you may want to brace yourself for this landing.
Steve: OH MY GOD I AM HEARING VOICES GREAT I AM GOING MAD. I wanna go back, I wanna go back, I WANT TO GO BAAACK.
And back he went... At least in his head.. He was still very much falling, it's just that falling from the very top of the sky does take a while. And it is very reasonable for one to pass out while falling.
Now let's go back to that awful last day in the present for Steve. The day he got into an accident that put him into a coma.
