Chapter 16: Dire Circumstance
Jaxon rushed out to the location that Bailey was said to have disappeared from. It was a hiking trail and was the last logged place on her fitness tracker, which was found about halfway through the one-mile trail. Bailey had been hiking alone when she texted Tracy that she thought someone was following her. When Bailey quit responding, Tracy called the cops. Bailey was nowhere to be found, only her fitness tracker, discarded on the ground.
The searched the rest of the trail and surrounding wooded area for clues and found nothing, or so they thought. Jaxon found what looked to drag marks around where the fitness tracker was found. He followed them to a dirt path, where there were tire marks. He took pictures of the tread and sent them to his friend to analyze
