Chapter 18: Lost
Jaxon punched the steering wheel, causing his horn to blare. He flipped a U-turn and went to go meet up with the chief at the station. They had no leads. Suddenly, his scanner went off, and he froze. Another girl was missing. Cursing he sped to the location where she was last seen. The quad. There were police everywhere, and they were searching every nook and cranny for evidence. The one thing they weren’t searching were the surveillance tapes. And that is when Jaxon got even worse news. Someone had a signal blocker, so none of the surveillance cameras caught anything but static when the girl went missing.
