After a storm comes a golden sky. Brian's golden sky was the news of his mother still being alive. All he had to do was find her. Brian was elated and wanted to find his mom as early as possible while Mitchell was perturbed. He couldn't help but question Eric's timing. If Eric was as powerful as he is, why couldn't he rescue Lady Gabrielle by himself? Why does he need Brian? Why now after seventeen years? Mitchell kept a skeptical view of Eric.
Finding out more about his foster parents, Brian needed a break, chose to live with Mitchell and would go for training under Braeden everyday after school hours. It wasn't easy training with Braeden as she maintained a very strict personality. Braeden was a dark young woman in her thirties with black silky hair with a pair of brown eyes and a rather pointed nose. She has a body of a model but her personality was like that of a drill master. She was fierce and extremely loyal to Eric.
Weeks went by and the fruits of training were paying off. Brian could shift effortlessly and could make better use of his heightened senses now. Mitchell; still skeptical of the pack was helping Eric plan an extraction mission for Lady Gabrielle held up in a tightly secured hunters' bunker. The day the Carter brothers would reunite with their mom inched closer.
Over the course of the weeks spent together, Brian and Mitchell got closer with Eric and his pack. For a big bad werewolf as presumed, Eric proved to be a nice, easy going fellow. Although sassy, he was caring and intelligent but he never shifted for once since they've been affiliated. Even though, he was the Alpha, Braeden took on most of the responsibilities which further made Mitchell cynical towards the pack. ‘Why? Why are you not using your powers?' Mitchell questioned Eric. Eric; obviously hiding something and shrouded in mystery smiled and replied in a nonchalant manner ‘You'll see in four days'. Mitchell, clearly not contented with the answer he got was persuaded by Liza. He seemed to be having a little crush on the young beautiful brunette whose hair smelled like lilies. A hundred and seventy centimetres tall with a petite body, Liza was Mitchell's fantasy girl. Brian and Eric always teased him for his inability to be composed in her presence.
Four days later on a weekend, the pack along with Brian and Mitchell left Lockswood on a rescue mission. There was going to be a full moon that night which further increased the percentage of success of their mission. Although security at the bunker were always tighter on every full moons, Eric found a c***k after a series of studies and information from the inside.
Night fell and the moon rose moving along the clear sky shining brightly but not penetrating the bunker that serves as a prison, laboratory and a fortress. The silence at the bunker site was deafening. D-day had arrived and it was go time. Just like Eric had said, security was at its maximum. Hunters believe supernatural beings could try to break in relying upon the full moon that makes them much stronger. Right they are but their knowledge remains incomplete. Special supernatural beings had developed other uses of the moon's power rather than giving in to their animal side. Eric was one. His use of the moon's power to erase his aura and suppress his supernatural genes almost completely making him closer to human than ever was essential and the first step in their plan; Infiltration.
