Two days after learning about his painful past that caused him to awaken his bear abilities, Brian was back in school feeling a little arrogant. His aura had completely changed from the shy guy who always tried to avoid crowds to a cocky attitude with a sinister intention. You probably guessed it, he was thinking about hurting Jack with his newly found abilities. Brian could move faster, hear clearer and could lift unbelievably heavy objects now thanks to the recent awakening of his bear side. He could not control it well yet but he was getting the hang of it. This was going to be the day he showed everyone he could be a cool guy.
During break on the pitch, his team defeated Jack’s team buy a huge margin with Brian being the main perpetrator of the trashing. For the first time, the ladies cheered for the ‘loser’ team and they all felt happy and noticed. Although he was enjoying the attention, Mitchell wasn’t getting carried away. He couldn’t help but notice the changes to Brian’s personality.
Brian was having a great day at school while Mitchell was busy collecting data and his day got much worse when he asked for the stone back and Brian shut him down which further increased his curiosity. Brian was never going to return the stone after he had learnt about it's true purpose and how connected it is to his past.
Brian’s beef with Jack continued when he was challenged to a fight by Jack. For a human, Jack moved incredibly well and was great with his kicks. Brian was impressed as he knew the old Brian would lose effortlessly in a one on one situation but it was inevitable that Jack would lose to an enhanced Brian. Brain won and Jack’s social status took a big hit while Brian’s went the other way. Brian was becoming a bully and Mitchell was getting more worried as well as he became more curious about Brian. He had known Brian for some years now and his friend had become a total stranger.
After school hours, Mitchell headed to the Robinson’s home which had been abandoned since that night. Brian was hanging out with his new pals presenting him the opportunity to talk to Brian’s mom in his absence. The red eyed alpha and his betas had taken over the house since that night waiting patiently for a chance to strike again.
When he got to the house, Mitchell was welcomed by Liza; a classmate of theirs. She was always silent and nobody really knows much about her. Liza led a very confused and scared Mitchell to the Alpha who was willing to tell Brian’s story to him.
The alpha introduced himself as Eric and told Mitchell the story of how Brian was his brother and how they got separated seventeen years ago. He also told him of how their mother could still be alive and how helpful the stone would be in locating her. After telling his story, he warned Mitchell not to tell anyone apart from Brian about what he had just heard or else he would have Liza kill him as he stared his red eyes at Mitchell to make him believe. Mitchell was greatly terrified and raced home with his heart in his mouth.
