Ava POV
Please wake up Ava.
Huh? Who’s there? I try so hard to open my eyes but everything feels so heavy, all that surrounds me is darkness. I cannot believe that this keeps happening to me, I seriously have to work on getting stronger I think to myself.
I finally feel my body breaking through the barrier of darkness, all the pain hitting me in a wave at once. I want to scream but I can’t, at least I know I am alive I think to myself. I start to slip back to sleep, feeling the darkness comforting and calling out to me but then I remember Jade and I fight even harder for her.
I finally awake to the sound of beeping. I slowly open my eyes, closing them quickly before reopening, the lights being dimmed for me which makes it easier for me to open my eyes the second on the second try.
