Despite her hate, she must agree to the deal in other save her uncles life. Both Gabriel and Trisha try to deal with their emotions and try to keep things platonic ,while at the same time acting up as the best couples to the public. The story takes turn when a wave of events question their feelings for each other, and the hard decisions they both face. Characterization: Gabriel Romano: A 25-year-old billionaire's heir. He is very handsome, has an aura of authority and radiates power. He has a resentment towards women - due to a past relationship. He is a cautious person who hides his emotions behind a powerful persona. Trisha Parks: A 21-year-old local Hotel receptionist. She is mentally and emotionally traumatized, considerate, emotionally indecisive and feisty. She’s always lived an average life and has a strong bitterness towards the rich and influential. Synopsis: Trisha parks has always lived and average and boring life with loss and pain. But all that changes the night her uncle takes her to a dinner party hosted by the infamous billionaire's heir where he was supposed to introduce his fiancée. She has total hatred for the upper-class, but only goes to please her uncle. Little does she know the night would take a different turn. She accidentally meets the Gabriel Romano - the billionaire's heir, in an unpleasant way, and things get a little out of hand until the intervention of Ace - Gabriel's childhood friend, who tries to turn the situation but fails , and instead , ends up taking a liking to Trisha. She also meets her long time college friend which brings back happy memories for her. The time for the mystery fiancée to be announced, and it unexpectedly turns out to be Trisha. Though in secret the engagement is to be staged, Trisha doesn’t like the idea of involving her self with an upperclassmen but must do it to for the sake of her uncle - to clear his debt. Little did they know that agreement would change both their life's. As time goes on they grow feelings for each other but don’t admit it yet ,due to various trails of events that place Romano's business empire and their entire life's in danger. There entire journey is filled with bitterness, emotional uncertainties and business rivals. In other to be together ,they must overcome the obstacles they encounter on the way. Exposition: The story begins with Trisha and her uncle going for a dinner party. She's constantly lost in thoughts as she reviews through her life, starting from her father's terrible murder, to her mom sending her off to live with her uncle and how her life had turn out since then. Also revealing her hatred for the rich and influential, due to the roles they play in causing her mental and emotional pain. She's also having second thoughts about attending the dinner party ,but her uncle tries to persuade and reassures her that it's going to turn out fine. Inciting Incident: In order to clear her uncles huge debt and also save his life , Trisha has to play the pretend role of Gabriel Romano's fiancée and future wife - A role that would only be terminated after they got married( which would be also staged) , and Gabriel would have secured his family's businesses and fortune. Prior to the agreement, after the marriage and divorce, Trisha would to back to her normal life ,but more richer than ever. Rising Action: Gabriel’s ex girlfriend - daughter to his fathers business rival ,resurfaces back in life after hearing about his engagement. She tries winning him back, which of course on the other hand, is a scheme by her father to try and take over the Romano's fortune. Gabriel not only has to deal with his past pain ,but also has to protect his Family's business. Climax: Gabriel is caught in a difficult situation of choosing between - Marrying his ex girlfriend to save his family's name and image from being tarnished and destroyed due his fathers dark secret, or maintain his fake relationship with Trisha - whom he was beginning to grow strong feelings for , and loose everything. Trisha on the other hand ,has troubles deciding which of the three men to be with. A decision , that can change her fate and result to regrets. Denouement: After what became a very crucial moment in both their lives - overcoming all the hurdles and obstacles placed in their way , In a heartfelt moment , they both confess their love for each other , letting go of all their insecurities. They end up getting married for real and have a family of their own. EPISODE ONE The scenery passes in a blur as we drive through the city. Man...I wish I was anywhere but here right now. “Don’t look so glum Trisha", My uncle let's out a soft laugh from the drivers seat as he distracts me from my thoughts. " You're going to enjoy this dinner party, I’m sure of it my Little Flower". My eyes light up at the mention of my childhood pet name. I had grown so fond of it even though I was now 21. "Besides ,it should be a nice change of pace. You've been working a little too much lately. It wouldn't hurt to come out of your shell for just one night". I let out a quiet hum not wanting to argue with him any further , "I guess you're right. Working in an office everyday isn't exactly thrilling. You get bored and lonely sometimes ,especially when you have grumpy looking co workers". My uncle said nothing further, just smiled and maintained his focus on the road. A long silence crept in which left me to my thoughts once more. Honestly, I’d be lying if I said I never imagined a more glamorous life. My life has always been everything short of dazzling, starting from the loss of my father when I was only 5 years old. I could still clearly remember that day like it was yesterday.... It was a hot afternoon at the market, my mom and I had gone shopping that day leaving just my dad at home. Even though we didn’t know why , my dad had refused to go to work. And he had also been acting very strange ,easily frightened - as if some dark forces were after him. My mom ,though concerned, thought maybe he just needed time to rest or maybe he was unwell. I, on the other hand ,couldn’t care less since it meant I got to spend more time with my dad ...since I considered him my best friend. We giggled and chatted as we slowly walked back to our apartment door and a wave of excitement flushed through me as I reached for the door handle, little did I know I would forever be haunted by the memory of the horrid sight I would lay eyes on - My dad's lifeless body in a pool of his own blood on the floor. I stood frozen at the door with a mixture of both shock and fear...My mom, already in tears ,screaming at the top of her voice rushed over to the body on the floor. My eyes where heavy with tears as I watched the ambulance take the body... my father away. That was when I realized I had lost my best friend and that I would never see him again. It wasn’t until I was 9, that I got to know the truth about my dads death. He had taken a loan from a well known wealthy business man in that district. Eventually, he couldn't pay off his debt and was forced to work for the man , which also meant involving himself in all sorts of dirty businesses. Not able to cope with the guilt of the many dirty jobs he had done, he wanted to quit... Which of course he knew would be impossible prior to the agreement he had signed to work for the man for as long as he drew breath. He knew he would be putting his life at risk by trying to break that agreement, but he was willing to take that chance...which led to him being assassinated in our living room that afternoon. When i was 12, My mom decided she couldn't afford to fend for us both so she sent me off to my uncle Stanley...My dad's elder brother .He and his wife took care of me and provided me with everything they could afford. I graduated from High school, Eventually graduated from college, got a job as a receptionists at a local hotel, broke up with Jake - my toxic boyfriend that I dated since college , a relationship that left me emotionally and mentally broken. My life was a total me... " You know ,this is a night of opportunities. You never know what might happen at a dinner party like this". And just like that ,my thoughts were once more interrupted by my uncle. Looking at me from the sides of his eyes, he placed his right hand on my lap. "I want you to treat this as a little networking event. It never hurts to make more connections". He removes his hand and continues to focus on the road. " I'll even introduce you to Gabriel Romano. He's going to announce his fiancée at tonight's dinner .You know he is the heir to the Romano Family ,which makes him one of the most richest and powerful billionaire's in the country! " I let out a scoff at the word ‘BILLIONAIRE'... It irritated me. I had never liked the upper-class men...the wealthy. Partly because I wasn’t in that category, but Majorly because of the memory of my father and my experience with Jake...whose dad owned a very famous Automobile's company. My relationship with him isn't something I would ever want to remember, as it left me with emotional scars yet to heal and made me vow to never have anything to do with those wealthy bastards in terms of business or relationships. They are just too dangerous and they could ruin ones life with just a snap of their fingers and without even looking back. They felt like they controlled the system and we common folks were nothing to them but people to use for their own selfish interests. My shoulders sag as I look out the window again. My uncle has helped me a lot in a lot of ways I couldn't imagine . So no matter how I feel about this dinner party and why we actually had to attend, I don't want to hurt his feelings . Though, I wandered how my uncle got connected with the Romano's family , and though I couldn't shake off the weird feeling I had been getting since the beginning of this trip ,I feel maybe tonight will go fine ... Probably..
