SHADOWS IN THE FOREST: Scratchers on Mt. Kalmot

In a University there's this two besties named Gelyca and Zephanie who's a fresh Grad; they are Besties since childhood there mothers was also a besties each other. Now one day, since they we're a fresh graduate they've wanted to celebrate there success "hey Ge what about a camping on the forest" said Zephanie "isn't it dangerous for us to go there with only two of us?" Gelyca replied, Zephanie sighed* "what are you?" "a baby? Ge we're adults now we can literally handle our selves duhhh" . They planned to go camping on a forest on the mountains which believed in many urban legends that there's a monsters in it. This besties loved urban legends and wants to unlock this mystery, they told there parents about it and since they're old enough to handle themselves there parents agree with it.As they drove to the mountains they stop because there car cannot go unto it because of the muddy and small spaced pathway to the forest " I say we'll just walk then" Zephanie said, so they've decided to just parked the car on where they stopped and continue there journey walking with there things; now as they walked through the woods the only thing they heard are the wind blushing unto them , the crows flying above the trees and other animals inside the forest. An hour past they decided to rest for a while so they can continue there journey with more energy "Oh my gosh what a long walk." Gelyca after drinking water; Gelyca who's a wary one sensed something on the shadows as if there's someone behind them and Zephanie ask Gelyca if what's she's doing but Gelyca replied " Oh it's just some kind of animal roaming on the forest ". After that they just continue they're journey to the forest without knowing the danger waiting for them.Another hour passed and they've reached to there destination and because it's already sun down they immediately set up they're tent, " I'll just gonna fix our things in the tent" Zephanie arranged there things inside the tent and " I'm sure we'll get cold let'me make the fire place" Gelyca started the fireplace for them to keep warm all night; while Gelyca's looking for some wood to make a fireplace she once heard something on the woods "is there someone out there?" she think on her head and since it's almost nighttime she just continue gathering the woods and got to the fire place next to there tent to add some woodchuck on the fire. . .After they've finished there dinner Zephanie wants to do her thing so she got to the bushes not far from there tent " Gosh I'm full" now after doing her thing she would go to her tent but not long she screamed in frightened and Gelyca heard her so she immediately ran to her "Zeph, Zephanie wake up" and saw her friend lying unto the ground,while Gelyca treating her wound, Gelyca asked her what happened and she said "there's just a figure on the shadows and rustling I saw not far from me and suddenly someone on my back suddenly scratched me" "I screamed and passed out and I don't know what happened next ". Gelyca who sensed something earlier was having a theory about the urban legend.Now while she treated her friends wound it was not just a scratched it had a sign like a triangle resembling to the sign in the book which she read about the urban creature on the forest in Mt. Kalmot which means "scratched" in Filipino language, this creature is called scratchers ; This terrifying creature scratched the back of a person and if the scratch is not treated by a Mananambal or a traditional Filipino folk healer the person will die with no pain .After Gelyca remembered the folklore she emmidiately packed there things "we need to get out here emmidiately, it's not safe here Zeph" and put some salt on her friends wound so the she will be safe and she also put some salt on her pocket. While packing there things she emmidiately got up and support her friend walking, a couple hour past there's some shadows passed on the bushes she emidiately run with her friend but suddenly they we're caught by the monster she then splashed a Water with salt on it then the monster run away from them and when they got to the car; Gelyca then sprinkled some salt inside and outside the car then she drove fast far away that place.And when they arrive at her friends home she told everything to there parents and Zephanie's Mom then called a Mananambal to heal her daughter, the Mananambal told Gelyca not to go to that mountain again and gave her herbal medicine for Zephanie to put on her wound "put this on your friends wound, this will heal her wound in time, don't be afraid if she's not awoken in two to three days it's just because she have a deep cut from that terrifying creature and also don't forget to pray after putting the herbs". Three days past Zephanie stayed asleep and on the fourth day she miraculously awake thanks to the Mananambal.
