My Poetry

To you,

Before I give the warning and backstory, I want to say that if you are going through a hard time in life and you feel like you don't want to be here anymore, I'm 100% sure that someone out there loves you. If you still don't feel like there is then, love yourself(now I know that sometimes isn't easy). You're a living, breathing person and that in itself is a beautiful thing. I know life can be hard, but you are amazing. I wish that everyone could see that. But even if no one else sees that, I want you to see it because you are awesome and wonderful. I appreciate you for fighting to keep going. I hope that this poem can help you see that. Also, I hope you have a wonderful day. Finally, I promise that even if you don't feel like it, everything will get better. :). WARNING: This poem does allude to serious topics. So, I came up with this poem when I was looking through my memories of a friend that had passed this past year. I wished that I could've helped more. This poem was made to remind people that they are amazing and wonderful human beings. Also, to remind them that their life is precious and that they are a miracle just for being alive.

To you,

You're an amazing sight

Your smile shines so bright 

Yet you let yourself get beat by your own might

Your thoughts don’t control you 

You have to remember what is true 

You’re loved by everyone except yourself

So I wrote this poem to help

Help you remember that you are the light in someone’s life 

No matter your hardships, No matter your strife

Don’t give up, or give in 

I believe in you. I know you can win

Keep on fighting to see that light

And I hope to hear that you survived every day, and every night 

I will leave you with one last thing

You’ll meet many opponents in the ring 

You will get hurt and it may sting 

Getting up is the most important thing

You are loved. You are cared for 

Now continue living, and I hope to hear from you a lot more
