Chapter Twenty Eight
Sonny stayed at our table until we decided to go home. I just want to get out of here since I can feel that Travis was not comfortable.
“Hey, you going home already?” Cayden asked when he saw Travis standing up. Travis helped me stood up.
“Yeah, Selena’s already tired,” Travis explained. “And it’s also getting late,”
I kissed Cayden’s and John’s cheek before I waved at Sonny. He just saluted at me. “Take care,” Sonny said. “You know, there are too many killings happening at this town right now,” he continued.
My eyebrows furrowed. I don’t know what he was trying to say. I know about the sudden deaths, alright. But Travis will never let anything happen to us.
“I’m just saying,” Sonny said again. “You will never know. Maybe the ones behind those
