Chapter Seventeen
I tried to act normal as I went back to our table. Cayden wasn’t there yet. I saw him still in line on the other side of the cafeteria.
I did not eat first and waited for him and Travis. When Travis arrived first, I took a deep breath and smiled. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it.
Travis sat beside me with his tray. Cayden arrived not a minute later.
“Are you okay?” Travis asked after a while. We already started eating when I heard him talk.
I looked at him and nodded. “Yeah,” I forced a smile. I just hope I do not look constipated at that.
He did not say anything after that so I went back to eating silently. I just listened to him and Cayden conversing again about their upcoming game.
