Chapter 4

Jace Pov

Before I star the car i saw Mario looking at me he look at me like as if he wanted to tell me not to continue what i was planning, I just smile at him before i wave my goodbye.

I drove to my condo. I just open the radio to my car to escape this awkwardness. we stay like that for 20 minutes before I speak to her to initiate a conversation.

" What do you want to know?" I ask her.

"Excuse me" She said her head turn toward me giving me. I smile before i said it again.

" What do you want to know about me?" I said to her while looking to my rear view mirror, trying to avoid looking at her, God why I am nervous of her presence, where did my confidence go a while ago.

"Pardon me?" She said it again, I look at her like is she joking or she seriously didn't hear me.

" Im sorry, Do you have a hearing problem that i dont know about or you just play a prank on me? " I ask her, right before i stop the car because of the signal light, I look at her and focus my attention to her. She laughed at what i said, The moment she laughs all my attention was on her I watch her as I was fascinated by her laugh. her laughter is like music to my ears. She stop laughing when she noticed that I was staring at her.

"God You're so beautiful woman, did you know that your laughter gives me a butterfly in my stomach," I said to her, She just smiled,

" Did you put a spell on me or something?" I ask her.

" No, And What reason do i have to put a spell on you" She ask

" I don't know, Maybe you fall in-love with me since the moment we met" I said it with confidence. She chuckled again at my remark.

" I love your confidence " She said it before looking to my rear view mirror.

"You should start the car" She said, Right before she said it I hear the sound of the horn behind me.

" Im sorry! the beautiful lady beside me keeps distracting me." I said before I start the car. She smiled to what i say.

"So back to my question What do you want to know about me?" I ask her seriously. She look at me before answered my question.

" Everything, but I think you should ask that over dinner, don't you think?" She said it to me.

" I didn't think of that" I said before we reach my condo building I park my car in the basement of the condo and escorted the beautiful lady. I open the door for her and escorted her toward the elevator i push the button of my condo floor.

" It's look like we live in the same building" She pointed out, Its look like i can visit her every other day. I smile when that thought stay on my mind.

" Yeah, so what floor are you?" I ask, She look at me suspiciously.

" Why are you interested of what floor my condo is?" She ask,

"Nothing, just starting a small conversation." I said while looking at her seriously. She just nodded. before I ask again to what floor her condo is, The elevator stop and open the sliding door.

I sigh before exiting the elevator and guiding her toward my condo. I reached Infront of my door and open it,

" Come in, Lady's first," I said that while opening the door wide.

" So this is how you gonna surprise me? take me to your condo on our first date?"She said that while looking around on my condo. I laughed at what she said.

"Did i surprised you?" I said that while smiled teasingly,

" Yeah I'm surprised alright, now I'm getting out of here" She said while walking toward the door, I stop her.

" I'm just kidding." I said that while laughing. " You said you don't want to eat in a restaurant so. So I plan to cook a dinner for you." I smiled sincerely while I said that. She just nodded.

"Make yourself at home." I said before walking toward the kitchen and prepared my ingredients. I saw her walking toward me and seat in a counter Infront of me.

"So what do you want to eat Miss?" I said while i wore an apron.but she didn't answer my question, Instead she ask a question.

"You know how to cook?" She ask.

"Yes Maam, So what do you want to eat?"I ask again while looking at her waiting to her answer.

"I don't know, Surprised me" She said that like she's challenge me to Empress her. I smiled while thinking I'll take that challenge.

" I started preparing one of my specialty" A creamy pasta with a vegetable salad and steak top with seafood I don't know if she gonna like it but i put a lot of fate in my culinary skills. She's just looking at me like observe my every move then out of nowhere she talk.

" I beat she look good without a shirt on." She said it out loud, I Chuckled when i hear her say that.

" Thank you, And yes I look good naked." I teasingly said that. She blushed when she realizes that she says it out loud.

"My god did you hear that?" She ask while make herself busy on her cellphone. She's adorable.

" Yes, I hear that but don't worry I'm yours anyway? I smirks. She look at me when i said that. She didn't say anything she just keeps staring at me like memorizing my face.

"Take a picture it will last." When i said it, it's look like she came back from her reverie and blush. I chuckled before i focus my attention in the food that I'm cooking. I saw her get up from her set and walk toward the sofa maybe she's embarrassed. i just shrugged and continue cooking.

Thea Chances Pov

Im in the condo of this handsome stranger right now setting in the sofa while thinking what I said in my thoughts I'm still can't believe i said it out loud so I walk toward the sofa trying to escape and move far away from him. "God it's so embarrassing." Why did i think that is a good idea to come with him anyway Maybe because I feel safe with him he makes me happy even though sometimes when he's closer to me it's make me uncomfortable.

I look at him in the kitchen he's busy making our dinner I pleasantly lost in thoughts again as I watch him move his muscle. I bet he have a six pack abs. and did he say that he's mine. I smile when the thought of him cuddling me in our sleep cross my mind. and when that thought invade my mind I started daydreaming. I just wake up from my reverie when i hear him calling my name.

"Babe dinner's ready." He said it teasingly.

"Dont call me that. I'm not your babe." I said while walking toward the kitchen table where he laid out our food he even set up a candle lights and open a bottle of wine. he walk toward me pulled the chair and set me down I smiled blushing of his gestured.

"Thank you." I said.

"No problem, I'm at your service" He said before he move and set Infront of me.
