THEA drive to the events with her thoughts still in the parking lot where she left immediately because of embarrassment.

" I hope our path never cross again" she muttered to herself. She reached the venue of the exhibit she park the car and entered the venue. she give her invitation card and go inside thea is amazed to the paintings in the wall about half an hour to the exhibit thea still admiring the painting when someone speak behind her.

"It's seems that fate really wanted us to meet Ms Velasquez" He said in a baritone voice.

" what are you doing here? " She ask. he look at me and its feels like like he's saying I'm obviously invited.

"isn't obvious, I'm invited like you Ms Velasquez " He smirk and bite his lips like he enjoying my reaction.

"Dont talk to me like we're close, cause obviously we're not" She said to him. He move closer to her. So close that she can smell her Armani perfume.

" Now were close." He said while smiling amusement still dancing with his eyes. she just rolled her eyes and push the man before walking away she heard him laugh. but she doesn't care anymore. She just wants to get away from him she doesn't like the feeling everytime, She's close to him.

I need to get away from that man everytime he's near my heart keep beating faster and it made her uncomfortable. she keep looking from behind checking if the man followed her.

She stop walking when Mario the one who held the exhibit talk to her.

" Ms Velasquez how the exhibit do you like something that you want to buy" He ask while smiling.

" No I'm still looking but all your painting is good is just that I didn't find the one that i want" he just nodded.

"Maybe what you want is in front of you, you just can't see it" He said to her while smiling.

"Maybe"

"Oh, wait here, I introduced you to my friends, he own the studio maybe you can hired here he's an excellent photographer " he walk toward the crowd while he looking to the person.

She get a champagne while waiting to Mario. She see him from the distance talking to someone walking behind him she sip from her glass of champagne while waiting.

“I am sorry that I kept you waiting" He said when he got to me, looking a little apologitec.

"It's Ok" She said while smiling.

"Anyway, These is Jace Montefalco Smith my friend" He said while looking to the man behind him who seems occupied to the surrounding, It's look like he's looking to someone.

"It's seems like your friend is looking for someone" She said while observing his back figure she look familiar she thought while looking to his figure.

"Bud who are you looking for" Mario ask the man.

"Nothing "He said, The moment she heard the voice of the man that spoke she froze where she stand. the look in my direction while talking to Mario.

"Who do you want me to meet? let me tell you something bud,' dont set me up to a woman, ok, don't match make me and play cupid, I enjoyed being single, He said. He look shock when he saw me.

He walk toward me smiling.

" Looks like i found what I'm looking for, I don't need to look anymore,He said to me while looking into my eye.

"Hello Ms" He offered his hand to a handshake. He introduced himself like this is the first time we met.

" Hi Mr Montefalco." She smile and accepted his handshake.there it is again the spark everytime we have a physical contact.

"This is Ms Thea Chances Velazquez One of the CEO of Velasquez Enterprises she invest to my project before." Mario introduced me to this guy who smiling like she won a grand prize from a Lotto.

Thea saw how his adam apple raise while staring at my lips. He definitely swallow his saliva.He looks like hungry while staring at me, He looks at me like I am a forbbiden fruit that he want to taste no matter what the consequence is.

He stopped looking at me when Mario speak.

"What with the tension? do you know each other?" He ask.

"We met before" Jace said still staring at me. "Twice" he said again.

His Stare makes me conscious of my dress. And it look like he noticed, He smile. before he said.

" You don't have to be conscious.With your look, the reason why I staring at you," He pause and look at my lips "Because you're beautiful," He said it, While I blush like a teenage girl who received her first complement in her intire life.

He bite the inside of his cheek to stop the smile on his lips.

" Dont flirt with her." Mario said to jace.

"To late for that."Jace said.

" I want to know you Thea." He intently staring at me.

"Interestingly enough I want to know you to." She said Unknowingly. Thea doesn't know why she said it out loud she supposed to say it inside her head.

Mario interrupted our Conversation.

"Ms Velasquez why don't you look around, ' Maybe you find a painting that you like." He said, he even escorted me to the first painting that we find and mario excuse himself before walking toward Jace and talk to him. I just focused my attention to the painting Infront of me to see if will it fit inside my condo.

Jace Pov

"Are you insane" Mario said while looking at me.

"Why would you say that" I ask even though I know the answer.

" There family is super rich, They're not gonna like you even if you ever get a chance on Thea" He explained.

"I know, do you think I care " I said to him.

"Bud a word of advice dont mess with the Velasquez, What ever your planning don't do it, If you continue of what you're doing, Then that woman will be your down fall, Don't say I didn't warn you" He said before he left.

I left the table and find the women who managed to disrupt my sanity. I saw her standing in the left side corner She's looking to the painting not minding the look that she get from every man who walk behind her.

I walk toward her and ask. " So do you have plan after the excebit?" I ask her. she still looking st the painting while answering my question.

"It depends." She said.

"Depends on what" I ask.

"Where are you going to take me?"

"I know a fancy restaurants near here."

"I don't want to eat in restaurants tonight "

"Then where do you want to eat"

" Surprised me." She said while smiling at me then she call Mario.

"Mario, i want to purchase this painting, can you arrange someone to sent it to my condo after i purchase it."

"Of course, Ms Velasquez " He said before looking at me and give me a warning look.

" Do still want to buy another painting, or do you want to get out of here" I ask her. She replied " Let go " she said.

"Dont drive your car, leave it there I pick it up tomorrow" She followed me until we reach to my car I Open the passenger seat she smile before she get inside I hope to the driver seat before i drove to my condo. Where I plan to Empress her with my culinary skills.
