The Alpha Kings Mate

Chapter One

Rosemary:

My name is Alpha Rosemary Valentina Martens and today is my 21st birthday, I am still without a mate and already the Alpha female of my pack. My parents died an unexpected death about 5 years ago, when I was still a pup. I had to take over the pack at a young age. Since that day I have been proving to each and everyone in this clan that a female alpha is very much capable of leading without an alpha male. So far so good. I don't have any siblings (as far as I know). My other family members are either deceased or they live very far away. I am a strong independent woman, I know I am. In my human form I am tall, but not THAT tall. I mean, at least I'm not 5'4. Maybe around 5'9 or something like that. Close to 6'1....I think. Any way, I have long black hair, it reaches my waist area. I have icy blue eyes with some pretty gold flecks here and there, tanned skin and a body with all kinds of sexy curves. I can be a kind person, very merciful. But, don't take my kindness and mercy for granted. EVER. I did not become the alpha I am today by letting people walk all over me. Now, enough about me for now, let's start with the story...

It was a warm summer day, each corner I turned there was a pack member wishing me a happy birthday. By now I was ready to have this day over with. At around mid day I decide to go to my favorite place to get some peace and quiet. I walked to the nearest tree close to the woods to strip out of my clothes, I really don't want to rip one of favorite jeans again. They are hard to come by these days. After I stripped everything off and put it into my bag, I shifted into my wolf, Bella is her name. Bella is white with a black spot on the chest and black stripes on the tail. Bella was big for a female alpha wolf. Really big, I stood tall next to a normal alpha, very intimidating if you ask me(wink wink)

"Where are we running off to now?" Bella asked me annoyed. "To our favorite spot duh, where else do we usually go at times like this?" I said sarcastically rolling my eyes at her. "Well we can't keep running away, we are of age. We need to stay at the pack house incase our mate comes and swoops us off our feet" she says all giddy and excited, Bella is and always will be the hopeless romantic. "Pfft, Bella I am most definitely not explaining it to you again. You know exactly why I don't want a mate and you know I am too busy for such things" I scolded her, but even I know myself, if I happen to walk across my mate, everything will change. "Fine, be like that then. We'll see what happens when you find him" she said smugly. "IF" I said glaring. We kept on arguing until we were close to the spot, once arrived I cut the link between us so I can have some peace.

This place is and always will be so beautiful. The waterfall, the pond, the trees and the sun. It all just comes together and relaxes you instantly. The fresh air smell, woods and summer. How can someone not fall in love with this scenery with the smell. It's everything you could need to just relax.

Well I was relaxed until my beta, Brad, mind linked me, "Alpha, you need to come home. The party starts is 20 minutes" he said rushingly. "s**t, sorry I forgot. I'll be there now"

I stood up, shifted back into wolf form and sped through the woods back to the pack house. Once arrived the omegas were already in my room placing outfit choices on the bed for me. One dress is a dark blue that hangs off of your shoulder, with matching heals. Then there's a red dress with spaghetti straps and black heals, then there's a white dress, an off shoulder with thin straps and golden heals. That, is the dress.

I walked into the entrance of my party, each and every person wishing me happy birthday, bowing in respect and whatnot. I went straight to the bar for some alcoholic juices. "Vodka and orange juice, easy on the orange juice" the bar tender just nodded and went off to make my beverage. After several minutes of waiting I took my drink and walked to my beta. "So, the party is successful so far. My mate is no where in sight" I said the last part with a cheeky grin on my face. "Alpha, the night is still young. Your mate might arrive, you never know" The arrogant asshole said while winking at me. I had to refrain myself from punching him lights out right here right now, he saw my glare and just chuckled while walking away to the bar.

The night was long, almost time for everyone to go home, when a scent hit me. It's not like a normal scent, one that you smell every day. No no no, it was intoxicating. I smelt rain, woods and a hint of waterfall. Bella was a busy bee in my head, jumping up and down yelling mate. I followed the scent until I saw him. A Goddess sent from above. We locked eyes, I could feel his strong aura. My eyes traveled all over, starting by his sharp jaw line, bright blue eyes, jet black hair, muscles as big as a bolder, chest standing out. He was all kinds of gorgeous. Then my eyes traveled to the lady next to him, holding his arms tightly. Kissing his cheek whispering in his ear. Then suddenly, a loud possessive growl escaped my lips "MINE!!" I lunged at the woman touching what's mine. My beta, third in command and what I'm guessing is his beta tried to pull me away from her before I choke her to death. She was turning blue, purple, green even yellow. But I wouldn't let go. Until I felt it, sparks. Tingling sensations running down my arm. My head snapped to where the feeling is coming from, I was ready to kill whoever dares to disturb me. Until my eyes met those blue ones, looking at me with all kinds of emotions. His deep voice vibrates through me "Please let go" after hearing that, my hand loosens the grip and let her fall to the ground.

I wrap my arms around his neck and embrace the amazing scent he is giving off. "What is your name princess?" He asks in the most gentle tone I have ever heard, "Rosemary, but you can call me Rose. Yours?"I asked, mesmerized by this man "Demetrius Johnson, I actually meant your full name" he said giving me a cheeky grin. Then, I snapped back to reality. My mate is standing in front of me, right in front of me. So I bolted, out of the pack house right into the woods. I knew after seeing him, I won't be able to reject him to continue my plan. I was f****d.
