I woke up from the best sleep I have ever had.
After a pit stop, I went to the lounge. Eric was already at the dining table, engrossed in paperwork. It was already early evening. He looked up with a smile as I entered.
"You feeling better? Did you sleep well?"
I nodded with a smile.
"Much better, thanks. It was the best sleep I have ever had. What are you busy with?" He looked at the papers, then back at me with a grunt.
"It's administrative paperwork for the pack, but now that you're up, I'm happy to put it away and spend time with you. Do you want to go down to the dining hall for dinner, or do you want me to make something for you?" His excitement to put away the paperwork was priceless, so I decided to tease him a little.
