“What do you mean we're leaving the pack?” Rafael asks from behind me while I push to move faster than I am right now.
“You heard me right. We're leaving the pack. My father didn't permit me to access the database so we have to figure out how to get the information we need from out of here,” I explain in one breath while still increasing my pace.
“That doesn't make sense, man. You can't just say we leave the pack just because we didn't get the approval we need. Have you forgotten that we can always go around the approval?”
