CHAPTER THREE I tapped my feat repeatedly on the carpeted floor, biting the edge of my thumb. Getting up, I began pacing to and fro, trying to come up with something convincing that would have me not go to that damn gym but nothing seemed to cross my brain at the moment. I wasn’t prepared to face George just yet. For a month, I hadn’t seen or talked to him. What I ran into the gym tomorrow? What was I supposed to say to him?
