“So, how was the exam for PUP?” Sir Kenneth asked her as soon as she got in.
Ella scratched her head, thinking of the proper reply. “Ehhh… It was alright, I guess. I’m less nervous now compared to when I first started attending entrance exams.”
The teacher smirked at her. “It only means one thing. You’re more confident in your skills now. I’d say that’s because of my constant tutoring you.”
Ella resisted the urge to roll her eyes at her teacher. She was used to his antics that made him look like a jerk at first. But he wasn’t… Not at all, she discovered. “Maybe,” she said to appease him.
“Maybe? Just maybe? Definitely!” Sir Kenneth was adamant.
Ella sighed, hiding a smile that was forming in her face. “Alright, alright. It’s probably because of you.”
The teacher nodded in agreement.
