Opening Up

Kendall's POV

On Sunday morning, I was woken by my damn phone ringing. My eyes were still heavy, I tried reaching it on the nightstand. Seeing the caller has no name on it, I was having doubts about whether to answer it or not. After a few seconds, deciding to answer the call, I ask who it was.

"Hello? May I ask who is this?" I said.

"Have you already forgotten who I am sweetheart?" A man said over the phone.

My whole body shivered hearing his voice. It was low and husky, I

suppressed a moan wanting to come out. 'What the hell?' I thought to myself. I immediately realized that the man over the phone was no other than Ben. Wondering why he called me out of nowhere or how the heck did he got my phone number. I was snapped at my thoughts when he spoke again.

"Hello? Kendall are you still there?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah. You sayin'?" I said. Unsure of what he said.

"I was wondering if we could meet today, you know go to the aquarium and have fun. I know it is sudden but I really want you to go." Ben said.

Shock was an understatement, I was literally having a heart attack right now. I was never used to having a guy asking me out on weekends. Well, I have but I always reject them. I always think it was only a hassle.

"I think I will going to pass on that." I said to him, I heard him sigh. I know it's rude to turn down someone who is just being friendly, but what can I do I am not used to this kind of stuff. I heard him talk again.

"Please Kendall just this once, I know you will like it. I promise you that." He pleaded, sounding so desperate.

I felt bad saying no to him, I know that he really wants to go with me so I accepted his offer on going out with him today. It is not like something is going to happen.

"Fine, I will go with you, give me one hour to prepare." I said.

"Thank you, I will pick you up in an hour, see ya." He said. With that the call ended, I got to the shower preparing myself for later. I used my vanilla-scented soap, I really liked how it smelled. I don't know why, I just do. Wrapping my body with a towel, I got out of the bathroom. Opening my closet, I looked for something to wear. I decided to wear casual clothes since it would be weird to wear formal clothes. I wore a white v-neck t-shirt, a pair of blue skinny jeans that are perfectly hugging my round butt, and white heels. I also wore light make-up to do the trick.

"You look great Kendall." I said to myself gaining confidence as I see myself in the mirror.

I go down the stairs seeing my mom and dad eating breakfast. My parents were having this confused look seeing me dressed up on weekends. They know I don't go out on weekends except for school-related appointments.

"Good morning cupcake, want to have breakfast with us?" My mom asked me.

"Actually I can't since I will go out with my friend and we decided to eat there." I told them nervously.

We heard a car stop and the doorbell ring. I made my way to the door opening it. There I saw Ben looking so hot. He wore a tight gray t-shirt hugging his muscles and ripped black jeans, his hair slicked back making him more attractive. He smiled at me and greeted me.

"Good morning, are you ready?" he asked smiling.

"Yes, sure am." I said chuckling.

I stared at his eyes, seeing how beautiful they were. I was brought back to reality when I felt someone. I didn't know my parents are already beside me. It made me nervous, thinking that they will misunderstand and think that Ben is my boyfriend. So I preceded them, and introduce Ben to them.

"Mom, Dad this is Ben the friend that I was talking about a while ago." I said nervously of how my parents would take it.

My father was eyeing me suspiciously while my mother was just smiling. Ben broke the silence by asking for permission if he could bring me to the aquarium.

"Good Morning Mr. and Mrs. Rivers, I am Ben Mcvey, a friend of Kendall. I just wanted to ask if I could bring Kendall to see the aquarium. It is just miles away, nothing will happen to her I promise." Ben said with confidence.

My dad refused but is smacked by mom, making him agree but still glaring at Ben. After saying goodbye to my parents, we head to his Mercedes-AMG Project One. I still wonder how rich his family is. He opened the door like a gentleman, I go inside wearing my seatbelt. He got inside and he drove towards the aquarium. I leaned on the car window, and slowly drifting to sleep.
