Change Me My mommy used to tell me stories at night when I was 4, she always read me “Mythical Creatures”. A book which is about supernatural beings like werewolves, vampires, fairies, pixies, and more. I loved those old days, everything changes when strangers raided our house. They don’t have any guns or blades, only their hoods and some stick they carried. My mommy immediately carried me to the back door running towards the forest leaving daddy inside. Suddenly the house exploded, I heard mommy’s sobs and tears coming out of her eyes. Someone shouted saying to find us, I see men trying to catch us. Mommy ran faster while muttering something I didn’t understand. I saw the vines moving and catching the hooded men. My mother goes inside a cabin. It was clean and filled with furniture, mother put me down on the bed. I started to cry not feeling my mother’s warmth. “Honey, your beautiful and beautiful girls don’t cry. Shhh, mommy will leave okay? I going to daddy.” Mommy told me. I nod and hold my tears that felt coming out. She muttered something again that I can’t understand. Something comes out of his body and spreads. She kiss my forehead before she goes out of the cabin, I hid inside the bed covers scared. I heard explosions outside and screams, I whimper under the sheets. After a moment, the explosions and screams died down. My eyelids falling and my head feels light, after a few I fell asleep. I woke up and rub my eyes, I look around seeing I was still in the cabin. It was dead silent only birds chirping can be heard. I cried not knowing why, I can’t remember anything aside from my name. My cries died down hearing people talking, I heard the front door open “Hello is anybody hear?” someone said. “Mom, let’s just leave it’s scary” a small voice said. The bedroom door opens letting a muscular man, a woman, and a boy come in. I gasp and was terrified ‘what if they hurt me' that was the only thing I thought at that moment.
