THE LETTER THAT FOUND US

204 Words
Episode 1: The Window Seat Emilia sat by the café window, her hands cupped around a mug that had long gone cold. Outside, students hurried past, the world moving faster than her heart could keep up with. She wasn’t waiting for anyone, yet a strange part of her always looked for him, the boy she had seen here before, the one with eyes that seemed too heavy for his young face. Inside her bag was the newest letter she had written to her mysterious A. She had poured herself into it, confessed things she had never spoken aloud. But as she traced the rim of her mug, she wondered was it him? Could fate really be that bold? Then the bell above the café door chimed. Her breath hitched. He walked in dark hair, tired eyes, carrying the same quiet presence that unsettled her. He ordered his drink, glanced toward the window, and their eyes met. The moment stretched longer than polite, deeper than chance. Something flickered between them, unspoken but undeniable. Her heart whispered a name her lips didn’t know yet: A. And for the first time, she dared to hope her letters were leading her exactly where she was meant to be.
