THE VILLAINESS 1
Princess Morrigan was a villainess. a villainess who would torment the pure and innocent heroine; moreover, she would also harass the male leads.
Eventually, she met a befitting end for a villainess in a damp and disgusting prison: Princess Morrigan. Breathed her last after enduring gruesome torture.
"The greedy Princess Morrigan would not have lived a long life anyway. She just died a little sooner and a little more painfully than expected, but there's no need to be sad."
That's right, Princess Morrigan was someone who was ill.
Moreover, for the crying heroine who pitied the villainess's end, the crown prince's words tried to console the crying heroine.
You're telling me that's just how the male lead's personality is?!
I was a fan of the elegant and sophisticated Princess Morrigan, and because of that, the moment I read those words, I wanted to rip the book apart.
However, I still decided to read until the very end.
"What the hell is this?!"
And I was left in disbelief.
The love story between the innocent heroine Lilac and the obsessive crown Prince Aero.
The protagonist, Lilac with her innocent appeal, would charm people and become the recipient of their love.
In the end, the villainess, Princess Morrigan would eventually be defeated and ariel would achieve the final goal of being joined with crown Prince Aero in marital bliss.
Had the finale of this story simply been marriage between those two, then it would have been a fine ending.
"They all died?"
Killing our Morrigan unnie was one thing and it was understandable. She was the villainess, afterall.
But, two out of three of the handsome and charismatic secondary male leads and two other supporting characters, would be swept into the deadly whirlpool of romance between the two main leads and perish.
The remaining secondary lead, and even the final villain, Morpheus, would not make it out unscathed.
Such a destructive couple
I wouldn't have been satisfied even I had torn up and trashed the book ten times over. In hindsight though, if I would have known that, I would end up being placed in a similar situation, then I definitly would have ripped it up even more.
ONE EVENTFUL SUMMER DAY I HAVE BECOME PRINCESS MORRIGAN.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"My lady, I had no one to love me even when I did nothing. People called me a villain eversince I was born"
And it's all because of that girl's mother the person who forced their family to retire from politics, Morrigan's mother Leona Archer.
This is the real villain the person who forced her daughter to being prejudiced into the role of a villain.
"It's a life that my ladyship won't be able to understand"
That person made it impossible for me to tell anyone, even though it hurt so much. No, that's not it.
"Isn't it better to die as a villain that to die as a lunatic? that's why I decided to become a villain for real"
In the end, it was beacuse of 'people' that I decided to take this extreme step.
"To torment those who had everyone's love, even without lifting a finger was really enjoyable"
It was revealed in the second half that Princess Morrigan was a terminally ill patient.
"Atleast now, no one will remember me as a lunatic"
However, those characters didn't draw much attention because that girl was already the perfect villain.
"So don't misunderstand this was never because of you to begin with. I am here because of my own choices. I have no regrets. Not even one"
Yeah, exactly at that part!
That was exactly when Lilac's place in my heart was swapped out for Princess Morrigan!
She's just all around amazing!
"But I never wanted something like this"
This is three months before the onset of the original novel. The year that the princess is about to turn 20 years old.
Princess Morrigan opened her eyes in the morning, and the one who was occupying her body, was me.
My memories of my past life are blurry and fragmented but at the very least I do remember that I am not Morrigan.
First off, I still can clearly recollect how I died and secondly, I remember reading the original novel.
And above all there was no way that I'd look like this. My appearance in my past life was, from the color of my eyes to my hair, nothing particularly special.
In other words, the appearance I have now is not the one only my father ever thought of as pretty.
Radiant silver hair, mysterious silver eyes and softly glowing porcelain skin. Morrigan was truly beautiful beyond words.
"I'm this pretty, but are you saying that I will die young, without even having gone on a single date?"
And from torture too
"Furthermore, even if I manage to escape the torture route, I will die soon anyway"
And the elegant Morrigan herself is nowhere to be seen as to why I would be here taking on this appearance, the thought is frightening. There isn't enough time!
"Ugh"
Give back my sister! save sister!
And so, I spent the next week crying like that.
In my dream, I was confronted by Princess Morrigan.
"Are you by anychance, Morrigan sister?!"
"Why the hell would I be your sister?"
"It's just a nice title I gave you"
"Forget it, listen to my words carefully"
"Yes, please go ahead"
"I came to give you the solution to your illness. That illness has no cure, rather the only thing that can be attainably done is to calm the pain with medication. The disease worsens until this very moment"
"Huh? But I-"
"You're not in pain, right?"
"Yes"
"That's because you are not that body's rightful owner"
That's kind of vague. But I suppose being reincarnated into the world inside of a novel.
"Then, how do I get better?"
"The true nature of that disease is something that infects the soul. That's also part of the reason it's incurable and it's also the reason why I called you here"
