WALK IN THE DARK LIGHT

Flashback "This child is a curse,she must not live,kill her before the day of the full moon."The Lycan Alpha's word's echoed in the woman mind as she stromed off. The woman ran and ran until her lungs were out of breath.Her feet had turned sore and numb impairing her movement.With every step she made she felt that they were coming nearer and nearer . She could not let the lycans get a hold on her as they wouldn't hesitate to kill her.She tried to conceal her scent but the lycans were powerful enough to detect wherever she was.The child in her hands smiled gracefully which nudged her to keep on moving.The woman wanted to take the child as far as possible from her kingdom since she knew how merciless the lycans could be. Any creature who possed as a threat to their power would be eliminated with no mercy.The child was an elemental moon spirit and most probably the most powerful immortal in the supernatural realm.Sooner or later her true identity would be revealed and her death would be highly anticipated. The woman aimed at getting to the blue moon coven before dawn since that was the only place that had a no lycans policy. Half an hour later she felt as if she had been walking for the rest of her life.As she trolled down the narrow path she felt like she was being squished out of her breath.The ground was damp as her wet clothes stuck on her.The silence of the night was really getting on her nerves and making her uncomfortable by the second.From time to time she couldn't help but wander if ghosts also lived in the area. Just the thought messed with her head making her turn paler and walk faster to savage her poor life.She encouraged herself as she had started seeing dark clouds cover the stars.She shook her body and brown fur started growing on her skin as she transformed into a beast and continued running. She ran as first as her lycan legs would carry her before something scary and big jumped on the ground in front of her.She saw shadows of two large warrior lycans above her as she fell on her back. Her life was now doomed and whether she liked it or not she had to face the reality, but she also knew that queen Stella counted on her to save this child.She wrapped the child using some of her fur then threw her across the boundaries to the blue moon coven.The mark of a crescent moon on the child's forehead glowed a faint silver color .As long as the child was out of the lycan's grasp she felt ready to compile with whatever destiny brought unto her. "Where do you even think you're going?"A loud monstrous voice thunded in her ears.The lycan's breath was choking and suffocating as she pinched her nose.One of the lycans grabbed her by the throat and chained her up as a sniff dog . She could scarcely save herself as she knew sooner or later the warrior lycans would strangle her.She was actually glad that she had fulfilled the queen's wish.She lifted her hands in surrender as she was dragged to the palace dungeons . The lycans would not think twice about punishing anyone who was against their Alpha . Though the woman knew that she would be locked in the dungeons of the lycan kingdom,she had a feeling that this child would be her redemption. The fact that she had saved the most feared immortal in her realm brought sparks into her eyes.Despite that she couldn't really understand the fact that their queen had gotten an elemental moon spirit child since was only a lycan or maybe she wasn't.The lycans mercilessly scratched her tainted skin and dragged her back into the palace dungeons. King Adam, the beta king of the blue moon coven was out hunting in the forest when they noticed something cuddled in fur. A strong form of magic and power seemed to be emitting from the creature they could scarcely define what it was.They were instantly alarmed but before they could transform into battle form,they heard a shriek cry.As they inched closer they noticed that it was a child who was covered in lycan's fur.She also had a crescent moon on her forehead which glowed.King Adam knew that a child from a native coven especially if it came from the lycans would never be accepted in their coven which mainly comprised of werewolves. Werewolves and lycans had a never ending battle which led to the loss of many creatures in the wars.King Adam felt compassion and took the child for a bath in the lake and removed all fur from her skin. The king also rapped the child in sheets and used his magic to conceal the child's identity.No one not even the council of witches would be able to read her past unless the spell protecting her was broken. "I will take her home it's the only way we can save this child and let not a word come from your mouth about this,"King Adam snarled. "But your highness,if this child is a lycan keeping her might be the worst mistake of our lives,"Mark,a gamma wolf said to the king.Mark knew that king Adam had a big heart which at times could lead him into destruction.He also knew that a lycan would never be treated as an equal and her presence would also be despised.But at the same time he had a distinct feeling that this child didn't have lycan blood running in her veins.If the child was a lycan he could have felt a strong power full of darkness and hatred engulf him. Mark however brushed away the thought away and let the king decide whatever pleased him. "We can't leave her here,"the king paused for a while then continued,"and she may be anything else but not a lycan i will take her and raise her together with my daughter,Angela. **** 17 centuries later The mission of the blood moon pack was almost completed.The pack comprised of a group of teenagers who had been sent on earth to guide and protect their humans.Every immortal had a human being whom they were in charge of.The entire pack comprised of members from the blue moon coven and the neighbouring covens in the Arusha kingdom.The pack members where required to live together with the humans without revealing their identity. Their leader was prince Andrea, who was dark haired and the son of the supreme Alpha .He was a werewolf and a great warrior.However he was not of pure blood since his mother was a mere human being who had fallen in love with the supreme Alpha.Prince Andrea's mother was the choosen one of the Olympic lords who had granted her a special power.She was able to see the immortals as they transformed to their animal or supernatural forms . The humans had always thought of her as being mad which resulted to her being taken to a mental asylum.She was really mistreated there which made her to isolate herself and become depressed until the Alpha found her and marked her as his Luna.Though the Alpha protected her he had no idea that she was suffering and being tortured within his palace doors.The fact that she was chosen by the Olympic lords made her a great enemy of the titanic.She had finally been murdered by the Titanics since they could not acknowledge her as a greater being than them. Rex,the son of the Gamma warrior called Mark was also in the pack since he possessed great hunting skills,he was also a werewolf.His father was the third in command to the supreme Alpha king. Grace was the second daughter of king Adam and was a good witch.Her soul animal was still unknown since she couldn't transform into a werewolf like her family and friends.Infact Grace could not transform into any supernatural of whatever sort .However her spells were perfect which made her a great warrior though she did them while in her human form.She was also a mind reader and could tell people's feelings by just staring at them . Alexa was a spellbinder and the daughter of the Alpha of the moonlight coven of the vampires.Her mother queen Freya was the half-sister of dunchess Lynda, Raphael's adopted mother.Alexa was also a healer and used her vampire blood to cure ailments. Alana was the daughter of the archangel Michael from silver city and the fairy Rachel.Her being a hybrid made her really powerful as she had magic from both of her roots.She could also transform into both a fairy and an angel at her own will.However , the immortals stayed in their human form unless when it was necessary for them to transform. It was in one of their missions that the pack was mindlinked by Mark to return to the kingdom the soonest possible and savage the situation which was at hand.Something seemed to be going on within the pack. "An unfamiliar aura has been detected within the kingdom your highness,"Mark the second in hand to the beta king mindlinked him. "I'm well aware of that Mark, i can feel the tension, whoever this person is, he must have used a cloaking spell to conceal their identity ."the king replied cutting of the mindlink. The invisible shield protecting the kingdom was still intact hence it was almost impossible for a stranger to get past it.This person seemed to be really powerful to use the cloaking spell in order to pass through without alarming anyone.No one in the kingdom had performed such a powerful spell for years . The blue moon coven was the most powerful coven in the kingdom which made it the supreme and ruling.It consisted of many supernaturals including werewolves, vampires . But despite that most of the Alphas,Betas and Gamma were werewolves. "Good morning your highness?"a shriek voice said in anguish and almost in despair . "Yeah good morning too daughter why are you back so early anything amiss ?"The king replied awkwardly. Grace was not only the second daughter of king Adam but also the Supreme Alpha's assistant. "The supreme Alpha is dead ,he died at dawn ,"she continued staring at the wall blankly. At first the King stood still as though he had not heard a single word before blinking repeatedly then saying"Wait what do you mean the Alpha is dead,i saw him just last night,"Adam shook his head vigorously. "I found him dead when I went to report to him the procedings of our mission, I'm sure prince Andrea also knows about it,"Grace commented before her father interrupted."it must be the curse," "What curse?"Grace grimaced in utter shock . "Nevermind you may go ,"king Adam ordered.Grace bowed then walked to her chambers deep in thought.Her father almost never hid anything from her and now here he was hiding something so confidential. Being the Beta king , king Adam was in control of the coven as well as the entire kingdom in the absence of the supreme Alpha.Such a role would be almost impossible since prince Andrea had not yet been crowned as royal prince. **** In another part of the kingdom something cold and evil was brewing .In the dark forest ,Raphael was bound in chains.Raphael was a fire vampire whose fate had been condemned in the dark forest .He had been accused of the murder of an angel in an attempt of self defense .He was actually protecting his tribe but since he had committed a crime judgement had to come his way.The supreme Alpha sealed his judgement and he was thrown into the dark forest where no ray of light ever touched.Due to the rejection his heart had turned cold and evil.He had formed his own pack which did all the dirty work for him since he was as good as useless in those chains . "A shape shifter has been born in the blue moon coven and you know what that means ,"Raphael angrily growled. "That means danger of course, but at the same time it could mean it's about time to give a comeback ,"a voice said from behind. According to the moon goddess' curse whenever a member of their kingdom was born another would die.The entire kingdom had been cursed after one of their angels attacked the vampires, but the angel died in the process. It was also believed that a shape shifter would bring an end to the reign of the vampires something that Raphael had greatly feared . "Is there any way we can find some clue about this shape shifter, " Alaric a gamma werewolf enquired while looking down in fear. Raphael turned and let out an evil growl then with a smirk in his face turned to a lady with ocean blue eyes and black curly hair "I might need royalty in this mission"he said.The lady turned away probably avoiding eye contact before Raphael grabbed her throat then continued,"You are Angela right?". From a distance it was possible to tell his brown eyes had turned to a pinch black colour. "King Adam's daughter what are you trying to do you can't even trust her she may be a fraud just like her father, you don't even know why she joined us."Annie an angel strongly disagreed. "For heaven's sake just shut up Annie you are a fallen angel hence you are not even as half powerful as she is,"Alaric replied pushing Annie backwards.She sent him a death glare before moving backwards. "I am not asking am saying so princess will you do it or should I make you do it, don't forget i already have dirt on you so any mistake you make will be used against you?"Raphael said arrogantly.His tone was snappish and though it grated Angela nerves she had to bear it.She knew very well that Raphael was her only ticket to her father's throne.Despite being King Adam's first born child,she knew that her sister was more worthy of the crown.Even her entire kingdom viewed her as a snobbish princess since she never concerned herself with the kingdom. "I will do it your evilness,"Angela said then using a transformation spell snapped out of the dark forest to the palace. The rest of the pack stood still until Raphael got angry and snapped,"why are you still standing here do you want that good for nothing king to know you are here? "Sorry your evilness"someone exclaimed. "Leave now fools." On the other hand Prince Andrea sat in his chambers with his face in his hands.After his father's death a lot was expected of him before he would be crowned.As per their tradition he would be expected to choose a bride from the royalties, however that could only happen after he was trained to protect his kingdom.His training partly was to take place on earth with the mortals.For the Alpha to be worth he would be required to step into the shoes of the humans and learn how to live like them.He also was supposed to deal with the impending danger since a foreigner whose intentions where unknown was still loitering aimlessly within the kingdom.Though prince Andrea tried to brush the thought away he had a negative feeling towards this unusual presence.The kingdom was facing a great threat from the underground world and he was expected to come up with truce.Their enemy was ruthless and sinister even to the extent of killing the innocent just to relish the power they held and enjoyed.The queen Morgana didn't seem to actually reveal her true intentions and only created weird doubts within the people. "Your highness ,"one of his warriors bowed in front of him , snapping him out of his thoughts ."Her majesty the queen of the underworld has sent a letter." Prince Andrea opened it and after reading it for a while his eyes turned blood shot.Fur started growing on his skin as his hands and legs turned into paws.Before the warrior could realize it a grey wolf stood in front of him.He growled loudly and it was already obvious that he was in pain.He pounced on the warrior and before he could get hurt he transported himself from the palace leaving the angry prince behind.The prince was a hot tempered person and the warrior knew very well that whenever he transformed blood would be shed. Though the immortals died in their forms they would continue living in the underworld.Under the rule of queen Morgana and they were never allowed to interact with the other immortals.Queen Morgana never in one bit cared about her subjects but as the fallen angel that she was it was her responsibility.Some of the other fallen angels lived with the other immortals but her thirst for power led to her authority.The rest of the angels lived in Silver city a kingdom which was miles away from the Arusha kingdom. A strong power was accompanied by the strange creature who was roaming within the kingdom.Such an aura had never been felt in years and the council of witches could not identify whoever this person was.The source of magic which had been hiden in the supreme Alpha's palace for centuries seemed to be loosing it's glow.It had lost most of it's brightness and only dark shades could be spotted.The magic globe contained most of the magic that held the kingdom's invisible shield.It was as if someone was consuming it's power and yielding it to himself.The royal families of the Arusha kingdom also felt as if their souls were being ripped out of their bodies.The growled in pain and most of all in anger.It was almost impossible for a stranger to roam within the safe that contained the magic globe unless someone from the coven had leaked some information about it.A traitor was moving about in the kingdom and no one appeared to be much concerned with that revelation. Prince Andrea tried to control his wolf but it was out of control.His wolf wanted to be let out to have full control of his body.The prince also knew that if he tried something as such which was sacrilege he risked losing life.His wolf was really strong hence he only transformed to his wolf but never let it have full control over his body.But this time it was totally out of his own control. ***** Princess Angela heard the sounds vivid and clear in her mind . She vividly knew that she was betraying her family and her kingdom as whole.She had heard the conversation between her father King Adam and Mark which made her smile grinningly.She tried to hide the fact that she was working not only for Raphael but also for the queen Morgana.She slyly walked to her father's chambers and bowed down in front of the king saying ,"Your highness you look troubled is anything a miss?" The king was cautious at first but since she was his successor he opened up to her.Angela wanted to get the secret code to opening the magic globe in the Alpha's palace.She had used her power as the daughter of the Beta king to weaken the defense system of the kingdom.After leaving the palace she summoned her wolf and disappeared into a dark room in the far end of the palace.A cloaked creature with an indefinite figure and red flaming eyes appeared right before her eyes.The creature's aura was so powerful that it suffocated Angela. "Do you have the magic globe?"it screamed breathing fire.The creature seemed impatient as it gnawed fearlessly.Angela was frightened by it's astonishing voice but she had to bear with it.Her snow white fur was tained with blood stains all over.She knew better than to fail in her mission since Queen Morgana wouldn't think twice about punishing anyone he felt like. "Am sorry lord Darker but I have done my best to yield as much power as i could from the globe, however I could scarcely detect it's inner source since only the Alpha knew about it.But since he is gone the globe seems to be unprotected. "You useless wolf, your father must know about it too,go ahead and make him talk before i make you do it." Lord Darker screamed splashing her saliva all over Angela. She wiped it disgustedly then moved back a few steps which made the monster to come even closer. Working in alliance with the enemy was draining Angela but her thirst for power strengthened her.Her wolf was hungry and demanding for power especially after the disrespect she had just faced as she promised herself not to let a single soul ever despise her.Her body was feeling stiff as she lost control before she let out her wolf and landed on the tiled floor. With the death of the supreme Alpha king the fate of the kingdom's power lay unprotected but more or less still unknown.
