Joy woke the following morning with a bad headache, as she opened her eyes the place was quite strange to her. She tried to remember last night's events, she remembered something that jolted her back from her thought, which made her shout. She remembered she did not make it out of the hotel last night and she had gulped some content last night, thinking she had been drugged.

As she stood up, she grabbed her purse and quietly attempted to leave the room. However, before she could reach the door, a man with a dark aura appeared and asked her to take responsibility for her actions the previous night.

The sudden appearance of the man took her by surprise, almost causing her to lose her balance.

Sensing the man would not let her off easily, she put on some courage and questioned, "Did you drug me last night, so I can warm your bed as well because everyone is looking for the opportunity to lie with me." James was perplexed, hearing this from an ungrateful brat.

He advanced toward her, but she swiftly moved back and demanded, "You don't remember what happened last night?"Despite her throbbing headache, she made the effort to recollect the events.

After you met with whomever I don't care to know, you came out staggering towards me, passed out on me, as I was carrying to the room to know what was wrong. Joy gasped, nearly fainting again from causing herself more harm while attempting to resolve an issue. Just by looking at the man, it was evident that he was no ordinary individual to be able to avoid a villa in this hotel. She commenced pleading and explaining her situation, asserting her innocence and lack of intention to corner him.

Joy felt disoriented by the prospect of taking on responsibility. Unsure of what to do, James advised her to take some time to think it over. He handed her his card and instructed her to call him with her decision.

"I want the marriage to be kept a secret so it won't hinder me from finding a partner in the future. Physical contact is prohibited, and I want to go about my business as normal,"

emphasized Joy. James was amused by the way she stated things, ensuring that it wouldn't affect her in the future.

" Well I drafted a document, take a look at it. If you are okay with it, drop your account details" said James. The contents in the document states that, they will live together, visit families together. No physical contact, he will take care of every of her bills.

She dropped her account details.

"Settle your father's hospital bills and other necessary things. Call me when your free, let's go and register our marriage. Take care." He left to take care of other things.

He has already ask Mr. Philips to get him penthouse ready and he needed a base to build and train Personnel with arms because taking over the industry, might alert the enemies. They might want to attack and clear him, the same way they did to his Parents. He left for his other business after some time. Joy consoled herself, acknowledging that she had to make sacrifices for the person who had single-handedly taken care of her since she was a child. She promptly settled her father's necessary hospital bills and instructed the doctor to proceed with the treatment. She also made it clear that they should inform her of any additional bills.

The next day Joy called James she was ready. He sent his driver to pick her up, they made a stop in front of a Bureau Office where James had been waiting for them. He welcomed her and they went into the office together.

"No, I'm just amazed at how quickly things are progressing,"he replied.

"Well, rest assured that things will be back to normal soon,"she thought to herself, acknowledging his occasional moments of humanity.

They went to her apartment to pick up her belongings, with the specific instruction to only select her clothes. She swiftly gathered her things from the small apartment before they departed for the penthouse that James had arranged for them. As her phone rang, she retrieved it from her handbag. James made a mental note to get her a new phone.

When Joy sighted the caller, she reeled curses in her mind and cut the call and blocked the caller. Immediately James sighted the caller, he was furious and promised to deal with him.
