"I see Erik has a new girl."
I show Tony the picture on my phone, a lump burning my throat.
"Oh!" She's surprised. "That's Becky. She's one of the band's drummers. They have grown really close. She's kinda cool."
Yeah, she's painfully cool. With her long braids and baggy jeans, it's impossible to deny.
"They hang out a lot lately," she adds. "Erik likes her vibe."
I drop the phone, making the screen break. Tony quickly picks it up.
"Sorry..."
"No, it's fine." I say, fighting back the tears. "I wanna go home."
"But we just got here and we haven't-"
"I'm not feeling well." I cut her off, strutting to the door.
"Okay fine." She runs quickly, behind me.
