I jerk in surprise when I see Alex standing at the door. He shuts the door and walks in, a questioning look on his face.
"What the f**k do you think you are doing!" He hisses.

"I just saw what you did."
My heart stops and I turn to scowl at him.

He snatches the cup of tea from my hand and pours it in the sink.
"I just saw you poison the tea!"
"I don't know what the f**k you are talking about!"
"Are you trying to kill yourself!" He cries. "Have you f*****g lost your mind!"
Tears sting my eyes. It breaks my heart to see the pain in his eyes. It even breaks my heart more that he thinks I was trying to kill myself. He has no idea that I was trying to kill Erik.
