I DON’T KNOW HOW I fell asleep last night, or what time sleep took me over. When I wake up, the sun is already way up and there are voices outside my room. Getting out of bed, I step into the hall as Asher rushes past me without a word, a buttoned shirt in his hand. Zoey appears as I close the door. She sees me and immediately trips over the rug. Stifling my chuckle, I lean over to help her up, and she glares at me like I’m responsible for her fall. I ignore the dirty look and lift her to stand while checking her out. Her hair is in a messy half-bun with the rest of her hair running down her shoulders and there’s no makeup on her face. And she’s even more gorgeous. I can’t take my eyes off her. But Asher could be back at any moment, so I release her hand, dropping my gaze to her shoulder
