Chapter 1:Chased by werewolves
Late at night, amid the roar of thunder, the flash of lightning, and the howling wind and torrential rain, a man was running desperately. He was covered in blood, clutching a child tightly in his arms. Behind him, a pack of werewolves was in hot pursuit. These werewolves were not ordinary beasts; they possessed immense strength and agility, even capable of transforming into wolf form. The man's name was Elias, The child in his arms, Lila, was the daughter of a close friend who had been killed in a recent werewolf attack. Elias had promised to protect her at all costs, and now, he he found that now he seemed unable to fulfill this promise Despite the rain washing away the blood on the ground, the werewolves tracked Elias with their keen sense of smell. They were relentless, driven by an insatiable hunger and a dark command from their alpha, a beast named Varg. Varg was unlike any werewolf Elias had ever encountered—cunning, ruthless, and cruel. Elias exerted every ounce of his strength to escape the werewolves, but to no avail. They were closing in on him. He could hear their growls, low and menacing, over the storm’s cacophony. His mind raced, searching for a way out. Every twist and turn he took through the forest seemed to lead him deeper into the werewolves' grasp. The leading werewolf, Varg himself, was incredibly fast, like a bolt of lightning across the night sky. In the blink of an eye, he was beside Elias, his razor-sharp claws gleaming menacingly, poised to strike at the child in Elias's arms. Elias was already gravely injured, his body smeared with blood, but he still fought desperately to protect Lila, using his own body to shield against Varg’s attack. However, his strength was waning, and he struggled to fend off such a fierce enemy. Clutching Lila tightly, he coughed up a spurt of blood and staggered backward, collapsing heavily to the ground. The werewolf gazed coldly at the scene before it, a cruel smile playing on its lips. "Do you really think you can stop us alone? Hand over the child!" Varg’s voice was a guttural snarl, filled with malicious glee. Elias lifted his head with great effort, his eyes filled with determination and defiance. "Never! You won't lay a hand on this child!" His voice was hoarse but resolute, each word a testament to his unwavering resolve. Seeing this, a vicious gleam flashed in Varg’s eyes. He raised his sharp claws again, ready to deliver a fatal blow. At that critical moment, a mysterious figure suddenly appeared before the werewolf, blocking its attack. This figure moved like a ghost, appearing silently and without warning. The werewolf’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief as it stared at the newcomer. The person was shrouded in a black cloak, their face hidden, but they emanated an aura that struck fear into the heart. The man watched the scene in astonishment, a glimmer of hope rising within him. He didn’t know who this mysterious person was, but their actions suggested they were there to help. Elias gritted his teeth, struggling to his feet, and cautiously surveyed his surroundings. The air was thick with the scent of blood. Elias's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the scene before him. In such a short time, the pack of werewolves that had been pursuing him had been reduced to only their leader still standing. At that moment, Varg finally realized what had happened behind him. When he turned around, he saw his companions lying in pools of blood, their faces frozen in terror, eyes wide open in death. The sight left the werewolf stunned. He couldn't believe that in such a short time, his companions had all been killed by this mysterious figure. “Damn it…” Varg cursed through gritted teeth, a mixture of fear and anger surging within him. Realizing he was no match for this mysterious killer, he turned his gaze toward Elias holding Lila. A vicious glint flashed in his eyes before he lashed out, kicking Elias violently. Already severely wounded, Elias had no strength left to fight back. Clutching Lila tightly, he was sent flying, his body hurtling toward a nearby tree. Just as his back was about to collide painfully with the hard trunk, a figure appeared out of nowhere, moving as swiftly as lightning, and caught Elias just in time. Seeing this, Varg immediately turned to flee. However, he had no idea that the mysterious figure was so fast. In the blink of an eye, the figure caught up with him. There was a loud thud, followed by Varg's anguished cry as he was sent flying like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground. Varg stared wide-eyed at the mysterious figure, his gaze filled with bitterness and despair. Finally, his life ebbed away with the cold rain, and he closed his eyes forever.
