Two Hundred Eighty

Martin sat in his living room, it had been 2 hours since his girlfriend had been taken. He had seen it, an alien craft appeared and it shot a beam of light at his girlfriend Tamara and the craft and Tamara disappeared. Martin got up went outside, checking his watch it was 3:40 am. He wanted to call the police but he knew that they would not believe him. He then heard his cell ring, running inside he picked it up, it was Tamara. He picked it up.  "Hey Tamara, are you alright? What's going on?" said Martin.   Tamara replied, "I am alright Martin, they returned me. They told me that something is going to happen to me. I can feel it. Oh gosh, I am letting off a small glow and small tiny electric currents are running all over me."   Martin said, "Tamara, hey where are you?"   Tamara replied, "The Cardona country, near the town of Claydon."   Martin heard a loud static sound and the other end went dead. He put his cell into his pocket and ran out the door. He got into his car and headed out of the driveway and turned onto the gravel road headed down the 2-mile gravel road that lead to the highway. Martin lived on a small acreage. Cardona county was 54 miles away.   Tamara dropped her cell and looked at her hands, her hands and her body were letting off a faint blue glow and small electric currents were running over her body and she felt a tingling sensation over her body. She felt a rush, the glow was gone and so were the electric currents. Tamara looked around and as she did the area seemed to change, the town of Claydon seemed closer. Tamara felt a bit dizzy and she closed her eyes and fell over. The entire town of Claydon was woken up by a small earthquake as were some of the farms.
