Chapter Two

CHAPTER 2 "We're here." Dean stated as he stopped the horse, jumping off gracefully. He turned to me and grabbed me by the waist again, as he lowered me to the ground. "I can get down on my own." I commented with a sour expression, only for him to smirk. "Of course you can." He rolled he's eyes as he started walking. I ran after and followed behind. We were now in an unknown village, but it was unexpectedly huge. "Just because I'm royal blood, doesn't mean I'm incompetent." I snapped, only for Dean to turn around with anger and panic. He pulled my forearm harshly, slapping he's hand over my mouth. Keeping my words muffled and undetected. "You may not be incompetent. But you defiantly don't have common sense, idiot." He gritted out, which only angered me more. I then bit down on he's hand, to the point of blood. He groaned in pain as he let go off me. This was my chance. I then stomped on he's foot harshly as I took off running. I heard him curse, but I ignored it. Trying to focus on escaping from this strange, irritable man. I didn't know this village. So, I wasn't shocked when I ran into more danger. I ran all the way towards the bar that occupied the drunken men, mistresses, and fights. I tried to ran pass but my path was blocked by a group of drunken men. "Hey there beautiful, why not come with us for the night?" He smiled, showing he's crooked yellow stain teeth. I would vomit if I had the time, but right now I don't. That's when their eyes turn into fear as they scattered away in panic. I turned around to see what could scare them, only to see Dean standing there, with a cold chilling smile. If looks could kill I would be dead, just like every other victim he glared coldly at. "Oh, hey Dean. Didn't see you there." I smiled, trying to ease what was to come next. "Where did you go? I was wondering you left me behind." I chuckled nervously, only for he's glare to harden. Shit. Dean roughly gripped my forearm, dragging me along as he took large strides. "Hey!" I groaned from almost tripping on my own feet for so long. "Can you at least walk slowly, I can't keep up." I complained, only for him to halt for a second. Turning to me and carrying me over he's shoulder. "Really?" I asked, only for no response. "Fine, it's not like I'm the one carrying a person through the street." I grumbled under my breath. After a while of feeling uncomfortable from he's shoulder. Dean lowered me down on a chair, in front of a store that made weapons. I knew he was up to something for him to be here. Maybe he was planning to kill me? No, that can't be possible. If he wanted me dead I would of been buried by now. I guess I'll never know until he drops more hints about he's plans and motives. I just have to play along, but keep my senses on alert. Especially being observant. I guess I was tuck in my thoughts for too long. because I was snapped out of my thinking from the food placed before me. "Eat." He instructed as he turned he's attention back on the man who owned the weapon store. I wanted to disagree, but the smell and my stomach grumbling couldn't be helped. I ate the food, leaving half for Dean. I know he could be working for the enemy, or he could plan to kill me. But right now he was all I had. And I can't have him fainting from lack of food. As much as I hated it. I needed him.
