ISABELLA.
Sitting on the upper deck of the beautiful cruise ship with the sea wind blowing his hair haphazardly , Aaron Richards couldn't focus on anything but the dazzling and bright smile of Isabella Ron, the first woman he had ever loved, the only woman who had ever been able to lure his heart and now held it captive, she could even squeeze the life of it and he wouldn't even bat an eyelash, this was how much he loved her and was never afraid to show it. She was the reason he was here on this trip in the first place. He left no stone untouched just to see her beautiful smile that reached her eyes and could brighten up his gloomiest days and turn them into cherishable moments, everybody knew how much he loved her and wanted her except for the beauty herself . For him she was so pure so precious that he couldn't bare that his own feelings take her away and ruin his friendship with her, he could never take that risk.
Little did he know that Isabella felt the same way about him.
On the lower deck Isabella kept taking guarded glances at the upper deck. She just couldn't keep herself from looking his way. She could feel eyes his eyes on her yet she couldn't muster the courage to bluntly look his way. But from the peeks she could tell he looked devilishly handsome like he always did. His brown eyes, his chiseled jaw, his toned body, his taught muscles, his heavenly chest and his disheveled brown hair from the sea breeze made him even more exotic.
"How I would like to run my hands through his beautiful hair," Isabella suddenly gasped when she heard her thoughts being voiced out but that voice.
OH NO.
When she looked to her right she saw CARREY ADAMS, her worst nemesis, staring blankly his way and exclaiming to all the girls how she was so sure that Aaron too was in love with her.
This made Isabella sad. Although she knew Aaron since 5 years and was sure that he only loved her yet he would never tell her his true feelings and this had gotten her thinking that maybe Carrey was right. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and just by the comfortable touch she knew that it was her best friend, Alice and by the look on her face Isabella could tell she had understood her thoughts .
"How can you always believe whatever comes out of that girl's mouth? You and I both, in fact everybody knows she does that only to make u sad? and yet you choose to be sad." exclaimed Alice while shooting a death glare towards Carrey .
"I don't know why I always fall for her tricks. It's just that I really like Aaron, its either that he's oblivious to my feelings or he simply just doesn't wanna reciprocate them." Isabella sighed.
"I think you're the one who's actually oblivious to his feelings. Everybody knows he's completely smitten by you yet you let women like Carrey get to you. I just don't get you." Alice seemed a little irritated by this all.
Not knowing what to say to that Isabella got up from her chair and walked upto the railing staring at the sea waves ahead still her mind wrapped around Aaron and Carrey.
Meanwhile on the upper deck a hand extended towards Aaron while he was busy observing Isabella. By her demeanor he could tell that something was wrong and that had put his heart into a frenzy. He just wanted to get there and take away anything and everything that was bothering her and bring back her smile that would always make his day .
"Dude what's wrong with you?" Freddie asked after a hard slap landed on Aarons shoulder.
"Hey! Why'd you do that for?" Aaron shivered still wincing from the pain.
"I have been calling you since ten minutes and all you could do is stare at Isabella,"
"I was not," Aaron protested but one look from Freddie and he knew he had been caught in the act and now Freddie was going to hold it against him but luckily he dismissed this and extended his hand to offer Aaron some medicine. Aaron thankfully took it and then gulped it down with some water.
"I simply don't understand why come on the cruise if you're sea sick and have water phobia? You even sold your cell phone so you could be here today," Freddie finally asked the question that was bugging him since the start of the cruise but before Aaron could answer they heard a scream and focused their attention on the crowd forming near the railing on the lower deck and suddenly Aaron couldn't breathe for it was the exact same spot Isabella was standing at just 5 seconds ago .
Both the guys rushed onto the lower deck and moved past all the people. Aaron pushed away anybody who stood in his way and made his way to the front with Freddie by his side. As soon as he reached the front his entire body relaxed seeing that Isabella was standing right there with her face buried in Alice's chest.
Relief washed over him seeing that she was okay but it was short lived for once he placed his hand on Isabella's shoulder, she looked at him with tear filled eyes, a sight he dreaded to watch . She then hugged him and started crying harder. He couldn't decipher what was wrong.
She was hysterically crying and just wouldn't speak what was the matter just occasionally uttering that,
"It fell" .. "I lost it" ... "it was the dearest thing to me,".. and many such incohesive sentences he couldn't understand. Just then Freddie grabbed onto Alice's arm enquiring if she was alright and that what was wrong. Freddie was Alice's boyfriend they had been dating since 2 years and he was even planning to propose her today so it was natural that he was worried about her.
"Isabella's mother's bracelet fell in the sea by accident . It just slipped her arm and it was the last thing she had of her mother and so she's devastated." Alice told them.
Aaron knew what that bracelet meant for Isabella she was only 3 when her mother died. It was the last thing she had of her. Aaron pulled her back and looked at her tear strained face, it simply broke his heart. "You won't stop crying till you have it back right?" he inquired.
"No," she sobbed, "It's my most prized possession, I can never be happy not having it with me, I love it more than anything." Saying that Isabella hugged Alice again and started crying.
"Don't cry Bella, we will buy you a new one," exclaimed Freddie before he was elbowed in the stomach by none other than the woman who occupied all his dirty fantasies and it was followed by a death glare that made him quite in a minute. "Bella dear don't cry we will fig-" Alice hadn't finished her words when they heard a splash.
They all rushed to the railing on the other side. Breathe stuck into her throat when she realised that it was none other than Aaron who jumped into the cold water. Not to forget it was December. Everyone started getting worried for Aaron was nowhere to be seen.
"OK OK Stop!" everyone looked at Fredrick who seemed annoyed, "That prick didn't tell me he was okay with water while I was here struggling to find medicines for his sea sickness. And then he decides to go for a swim. Wow."
"Freddie," Alice patted his cheek, "will you just keep your mouth shut,"
Hearing Freddie's words Isabella frantically stepped forward and leaned over the railing shouting Aaron's name but there was no sign of him and even the small ripples had disappeared. She looked about and sobbed even harder. Not knowing what to say or do with every passing second the panic in her heart increased and then not able to control her emotions Isabella shouted on the top of her lungs .
"Aaron please come back Aaron. I was wrong that wasn't the most precious thing to me YOU ARE . Please Aaron I can live without it but I won't be able to breathe without you let alone live. I'm sorry Aaron please please just come back to me please Aaron . I LOVE YOU AARON . I really do . Aaron " Isabella cried harder but there was only silence.
