I watched Jade closely. I didn't know if she could handle it, but I knew she had to know the whole story. Taking a deep breath I launched into the story.

I turned to face the oncoming rogues So I could cover your exit. I watched Ed walk towards me. He played all kissy face with me and then asked where you were. All I wanted to do was punch him in his face. I couldn't let on that I knew what was really going on. I knew my dad needed the time to get you out and as far away as possible.
