Bela's POV
I woke up and heard voices come from the kitchen. Jade and Vic, guess they were having trouble sleeping also. I moved out of my room silently and stopped at the corner. They wouldn't see me. Listening to Vic tell the story of his found and lost love brought the time back into my own mind.
I knew something was up when Ed insisted on Valerie coming back with us. I always made sure I knew where she was and who she was with. I never told Vic, not like he would have believed it at that time. I just wanted to keep her safe. All I ever wanted to do was keep the she-wolves on the pack lands safe. I sensed it before I heard Jade call out to me. I walked into the kitchen and looked at them.
