Jade's POV I couldn't get away from my house fast enough. If Bela really wanted me to think about this, he needed to take a different approach. I know I haven't seen him since I was 16, but he still should have remembered that I had a problem with authority. It was one of the things that drove my father batty. The entire pack, even my brothers, would bend to his alpha voice. When he used it on me, I would just laugh. I heard my mother and him arguing once about it.
